T.I. “DIme Trap” Album Listening Event

Atlanta, GA. 5 October 2018 – Last night (10/4), Iconic rap artist Tip “T.I.” Harris hosted the exclusive Atlanta listening party for his tenth studio album, Dime Trap. Held at the acclaimed pop-up TrapMusic Museum, the event hosted hundreds of celebrities, influencers and longtime supporters who joined Tip for a first listen of the new album before it was released at midnight. As guests entered, they were greeted by the all black orchestra, Orchestra Noir, who performed new music from the album, including ‘Jefe’ ft. Meek Mill, Wraith ft. Yo Gotti and Weekend ft. Young Thug.

Inside, guests were able to walk through the Trap Music Museum’s exhibits and learn more about the genre and culture that Tip brought to the forefront. The event also helped commemorate the 15th anniversary of Tip’s notorious album, Trap Muzik, which sparked the trap music genre. Tito’s Vodka and Hendrick’s Gin powered the event for the evening with well-crafted themed cocktails. Brave guests tried their luck at the first ever “Escape the Trap” Escape Room, located inside the museum. Tip greeted the crowd and gave a little history on the evolution of himself and his musical career.

Following the introduction, Tip played the album from top to bottom. The crowd vibed to the new songs, including “Jefe” and “Wraith”, which were released in September. “I really made a conscious effort to challenge myself lyrically and musically for this project to make it special for y’all. To make it new, fresh and nostalgic at the same time for the core fans, while finding ways to attract the young’ns who only know me from Antman & Family Hustle. Thank you to all involved no matter how major or minute your role was. This experience I’ve had on album X has been surreal and amazing. Dime Trap out now”, Tip stated.

Dime Trap is available now on all music platforms.
