It was “Long Hair Don’t Care” and “Boys Will Be Boys” on last night’s episode of T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle.
Shekinah in all her glory tells Tiny about her latest opportunity to move up in the world of hair. She secured a booth at the world-famous Bronner Bros. Hair Show, and asked Tiny if she could attend. Tiny tells her that she would be out-of-town on business, so Shekinah would have to handle this alone, and reminds her to attempt to “keep it classy.” That’s not easy for Shekinah to do, seeing as how she admits that she’s a little ghetto, but still hopes she can keep it together.
Meanwhile the adorable Major is tired of getting pushed around by older brother King and enlists Pops T.I. for help.
An all-out battle pops off with T.I. leading Team Major, and King and his friend suffers the consequences. T.I. even scales his own wall to get over to King’s room to prove he’s not to be messed with! It was too cute watching T.I. bond with the boys. And in the end Major finally got to play the video game that he wanted.
Back at the hair show, Shekinah held her therapy sessions like she did last season, but this time it was all about hair. It was fun to watch girls—at least we think most of them were girls, because some looked very drag queen-ish—come up to Shekinah to de-stress about their tresses. She even had a hair battle with another stylist, which she easily won. Shekinah showed us that you can turn down the ratchetness and turn up professionalism when its time.
Go head, Shekinah, we see you girl!
