“Django Unchained” Unveiled At BET Awards
Jamie Foxx and Kerry Washington offered up a sneak peek at their new movie “Django Unchained” at Sunday night’s BET Awards.
Written and directed by Quentin Tarantino, the movie stars Foxx as a freed slave who treks across America with a German dentist-turned bounty hunter to track down a ruthless gang of killers.
“Django Unchained” also stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Christoph Waltz.
The movie is scheduled to open in theaters on Christmas Day.
Will Smith and Idris Elba Duke It Out For Role in Tarantino Film
Word on the street is that Will Smith and Idris Elba are in competion for a controversial role in the new Quentin Tarantino film. As previously reported, Big Will was said to be up to star Quentin Tarantino’s Western film Django Unchained. Now its being said that Idris Elba is up for the same part. The film is said to be the story of a freed slave who is seeking to reunite with his slave wife and take down an evil plantation owner.”
