PHOTOS: Frank Ski Kids Foundation’s 10th Annual Wine-tasting Event

My homie Frank Ski and his lovely wife rolled out the red carpet for his 10th Annual Frank Ski Kids Foundation Wine-tasting Event. The annual fundraiser/celebration was amazing. The event had Atlanta’s mover and shakers in the house raising money and partying for the kids. Frank Ski Kids Foundation has a long history and record of doing good for the children in Atlanta.

This year’s fundraiser will go towards scholarship dollars for deserving student athletes, Frank Ski Kids traveling to Alaska to study the effects of Global Warming, and for Atlanta students excelling in academics.

Atlanta celebrities came out to lend their support with participation and checks. The event was co-sponsored by Kevin and Erica Liles. The event involved wonderful food catered by Chef Davis.

The desert selections ranged from my girls over at Cami Cakes and the delicious deserts from Yum Yum.

The live entertainment included an amazing performance by Gritz & Jelly Butter band, saxophonist Micheal Phillips, songstress Algebra, and the big homie Anthony David.

Mayor Kasim Reed spoke to the audience about the importance of supporting organizations like Frank Ski Kids Foundation. Frank Ski brought up several of his students from the Frank Ski Kids Foundation. READ MORE

Yes She tore down the house when she opened for Anthony David at Center Stage. Check out the Video as she blows the song “Sweet Thang” .

Actress Terri J. Vaughn, best known for her role as teacher Lovita Jenkins on The Steve Harvey Show, along with Business Manager and Attorney Shannon K. Nash, Film Producer Roger Bobb and retired NBA Player Adonal Foyle (not pictured) have opened The Green Room, a specialty theatrical bookstore and performance space nestled in the Buckhead section of Atlanta, also known as SoBu (South Buckhead). The opening was celebrated with their spouses and Vaughn’s mother and sister, as well as a whole slew of musicians and actors.
