Comedian Katt Williams Arrested for Weapons Charge

Apparently Katt Williams was arrested on weapons charges in midtown Manhattan a yesterday after police found him driving without a license plates. According to NYPD, a handgun was found in his car after he was stopped for the initial traffic violation.

The 35-year-old comedian was released on bail Thursday just in time to ensure he collected that paycheck for his at Carnegie Hall show schduled that evening. On stage, he bragged to the audience that he “just got out of jail.”
