Birthday Bash Rundown & All The Dirt
Birthday Bash 14, which was put on by Hot 107.9 at Atlanta’s Phillips Arena on June 20th , was another huge success. Major artists gave HOT performances like Young Dro, Keri Hilson, Rick Ross, Soulja Boy, Gucci Mane, Young Jeezy, Plies, Bow Wow, and Trey Songz just to name a few. Definitely have to re-shout out to Gucci Mane, who I felt had the best performance hands down and Young Jeezy who brought out Mary J Blige and Lil’ Wayne.
In case you didn’t know :
Mary J. Blige didn’t perform because some IDIOT left her track CD. That person needs to immediately do us all a favor that were in attendance and kill themselves.
Fabolous getting booted off the stage was his own fault. Fabolous was given 10 mins to perform and missed his call time, so the show had to change it and gave him 5 mins after being onstage over his time they had cut the mic. When he decided to take matters into his own hands and ignore his time, they booted his butt off the stage. Not only did he throw his mic down on the stage behind him, he also went on his Twitter account referring to Birthday Bash as “Thursday Trash”. All I’m going to say on that one is come out with some NEW songs then you might get the time on stage you think you deserve. I am told that he is not allowed at the radio station anymore and his music might not be getting any plays or support. That was really dumb of him.
Well I’m not going to name any names, but many of your fave celebs were acting extremely Hollywood. Just so I’m not leaving you completely in the dark I will say it was one of the female performers that had maybe 15 claps in an audience of 20,000. I got more dirt but I will tell y’all about that later.. You can see all the pictures from the concert on Gossiponthis.com.

Other celebrities there included rapper Ludacris, British singer Estelle, Diamond ,Lil Scrappy, Jarvis, Eboni Elektra, JD, Bow Wow, Q The Kid, B Cox and many more.

The Shakur Foundation Big Birthday Bash For Tupac
Mike Epps hosted the 1st annual Tupac Birthday All-Star Benefit Concert at The Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Arts in Atlanta to celebrate what would have been Tupac’s 38th birthday. No where else but the “A” could have honored the great Hip-Hop icon Tupac. Last night at The 1st annual Tupac Birthday All-Star Benefit Concert at The Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Arts you definitely could feel the love thanks to Ms. Afeni Shakur and Mike Epps. The unique partnership was created by Epps, who despite juggling a national comedy tour, promotion of the new DVD “Funny Bidness” and two box-office films, “Next Day Air” and “Janky Promoters”, decided to augment his schedule by honoring the late rapper’s birthday with a fund-raising event to support The Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Arts and an unforgettable birthday celebration.
“I’m a long-time fan of Pac’s music. It’s always been the soundtrack for overcoming struggle and when my life was in a desolate place it was his messages that helped bring me through,” says Epps. “I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for his inspiration. It’s an honor for me to stand alongside his mother, Afeni Shakur in celebrating such a personal moment in her son’s history.”
There were presentations from DeKalb CEO’s office – a proclamation for Mike Epps and a painting given by 13 year actor & rapper Lil’ Dude. Co-hosted by M1 of Dead Prez, the stage held the presence of: Lil’ Scrappy, Young LA, Playaz Circle, 8Ball & MJG, Mika Means & Bun B.
“This concert celebration is an expression of my gratitude for all of Tupac’s fans for continuing to support and love my son. Pac’s life was a gift from God, “says Afeni Shakur. “We continue to carry on Pac’s legacy via his art and foundation.”
Thanks to Dee Dee M. Cocheta & Crystal B. of A.B.C. Publicity for making sure I got the shots I needed.
