It seems like for the last 3 years Brandy’s voice has gotten better and better. At first, her voice was like Ashanti’s, all off key… But that damn show is not the case now and afte meeting her I must say she is one of the sweetest and good hearted people you will ever meet. In other  News, Brandy and Ray J’s new show “A Family Business” will follow them and their parents Sonja and Willie as they run their family business “Rn’B Productions”. While the company has been run by Sonja, Brandy and Ray J must now take on more responsibility as she has decided to step down. I hope they don’t hold anything back, I hate when people try to hide whats really going on. The show comes on VH1 April 11..

The song’s original writer and singer Michael Jackson also appears in the song and video (his sister Janet sings the first chorus with footage of Mike thrown in). They also kept one of MJ’s original parts and show footage of him singing it (Nice!).

The 25th Anniversary recording features over 80 artists and performers. The recording of We Are The World 25 For Haiti embodied the same enthusiasm, sense of purpose and generosity as the original recording 25 years ago. Every one of the artists who participated, regardless of genre or generation, walked into the room with their hearts and souls completely open to coming together to help the people of Haiti.

The video shows footage of Haiti and the efforts surrounding its repair, along with footage of the artists mentioned above and more recording the song in the studio. If MJ was here he would be so happy..

TheYBF.com is reporting that about 100 celebrities hit Jim Henson studios in L.A. yesterday to re-record Quincy Jones‘ 1985 production of “We Are The World.” Quincy and Lionel Richie came together to produce the 2010 version called the “We Are The World 25 Years for Haiti.”

The charity anthem “We Are the World” has been given a hip-hop, pop twist by 80 artists who have re-recorded the 1980s hit in the same Hollywood studio where the original was cut 25 years ago.

Pink, Natalie Cole, Kanye West, Jennifer Hudson, Celine Dion, Brian Wilson and others stood shoulder to shoulder Monday night on risers at Henson Recording studios, singing in hopes of aiding Haiti.

“This one, the enthusiasm, I’ve never seen anything like it,” said Lionel Richie, who wrote the original “We Are the World” with Michael Jackson, and oversaw the redux version with music mogul Quincy Jones, 76.

At one point during a break, the musicians broke out into an a cappella version of the pop classic “Lean on Me,” a classic moment jump-started by singer Melanie Fiona leaning on another artist because her feet were tired.

Gesturing with her hands, and shifting her headphones from ear to ear, Barbra Streisand recorded her solo over and over again, completely absorbed in the recording process and stopping only to correct her pitch.

Later, a who’s who of rappers, including Snoop Dogg, LL Cool J and Wyclef Jean, recorded an interlude written by Black Eyed Peas frontman and producer will.i.am.XX

Brandy is having fun taking on a new musical persona. The singer is featured on Timbaland’s new album, “Shock Value Two,” under her new alias Bran’ Nu, and says she loved getting the chance to showcase her rap skills. She tells MTV News, quote, “What I’m doing on the album is a little bit different than what everybody knows me for,” adding, quote, “It was a great experience. I got a chance to be another part of myself.” Brandy says her verses are all her own writing, adding that she has been rapping as a hobby for her friends for several years. Brandy recently posted a video of herself rhyming on her YouTube account. That’s how Timbaland discovered she could flow. Check Out all the Pics…

Brandy recalls, quote, “He was like, ‘Yo, you have to do this. You have to come to the studio. Let’s see how you sound.’” Timbaland says he was impressed with the singer’s lyrical skills, saying that she’s, quote, “got the swagger.” Timbaland’s “Shock Value Two” is in stores now.

Brandy wow’d us with her version of “A Change Gone Come” that she sang in the bathroom, now she has done it again with Sam Cooke’s “A Change Gon’ Come”. R&B Singers Brandy and Kelly Rowland are back hanging out again. The two were spotted yesterday evening, shopping at a M.A.C on Robertson Blvd in Beverly Hills. It is rumored that the two had a falling out a few years ago because Brandy was talking ill about Beyonce and the Knowles clan. She felt as though Kelly was being mistreated and was playing second fiddle to Beyonce.

I’m not saying that she was right, but Columbia dropped Kelly’s azz like a hot pocket as soon as she split from Matthew Knowles. Since then, she’s been almost “out of sight out of mind” over here in the States and we haven’t seen a glimpse of her near Beyonce. Are they still friends?
