Â Limp Bizkit is joining the ranks of Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Drake and more as the newest addition to the Cash Money family. Frontman Fred Durst recently took to Twitter to confirm reports he and the band have been signed to the record label founded by current co-CEOs Ronald “Slim” Williams and Bryan “Birdman” Williams. In a subsequent press release, Durst says Cash Money is “without a doubt” at the top of its game, adding that he was most attracted to their family atmosphere. On the label’s behalf, Birdman says they’ve always admired Limp Bizkit’s blend of rock and hip-hop and says they’re looking forward to the unique sound the band will bring to the label. READ MORE

Â A new collaboration album from Lil Wayne and Cash Money founder Bryan “Birdman” Williams appears to be on the horizon. Birdman sent out a tweet last weekend that seemed to suggest they’re working on the record “Like Father, Like Son 2: Tha Last Mob.” Birdman and Wayne released their first record, “Like Father, Like Son,” back in 2006. In a previous interview with “Entertainment Weekly,” Birdman said they had hoped get their “Like Father, Like Son” sequel in stores on Father’s Day 2011. He’s since stated that they’ve already recorded a lot of songs, so they won’t have a problem putting together an album.
The Cash Money Rap Artist Lil Wayne was spotted at “King of Diamonds” in Miami and apparently he’s gotten way bored with watching strippers strip! So he paid $1000 to the winner to watch them fight! Wow! There was definitely some lucky ladies in the house that night. According to TMZ Wayne spent 3 hrs in KOD spending a total somewhere to the tune of 30,000.00.

Mystikal is confirming that he’s the newest member of Cash Money Records. The emcee announced his arrival at the label this week by releasing the single “Original,” which features Cash Money stars Bryan “Birdman” Williams and Lil Wayne. Mystikal spent most of the past decade behind bars serving a six-year sentence for sexual battery and extortion. He was released in January of 2010, and Birdman says he’s ready to get new music from Mystikal back out to the fans. Lil Wayne has topped every record imaginable and with his debut album Carter IV making close to a million sales in only its first week we can see why he was chosen for the honor.

Birdman is looking to add another potential superstar to his roster by attempting to sign Soulja Boy. Soulja told Rap-Up the two have already met face to face to face to discuss the possible move.

Heâ€™s trying to get me to come over to Cash Money.â€
It would be an interesting move for Soulja, who already has his own label, Stacks on Deck Entertainment. The allure of working with someone he has been a fan is compelling to Soulja though.
