Fantasia & Chrisette Record Song For Jane Fonda Foundation
Recently, Multi-platinum American Idol winner Fantasia Barino and Grammy award winning Chrisette Michele visited Atlanta to record a theme song for Jane Fonda’s G-CAPP organization 2009 campaign gPOWER2009. The song was produced by DJ Toomp (Kanye West and TI) and written by Fantasia’s brother Ricco Barino.
G-CAPP founded by Jane Fonda a leading voice in Georgia adolescent teen pregnancy preventions is a state wide campaign that leads a coalition of partners and provides training and advocacy to increase local communities’ capability and capacity to end teen pregnancy. www.gcapp.org
I caught up with songstresses Chrisette Michele while she was in town on tour with Musiq and Anthony Hamilton. She was really excited to give back and help support such a worthy cause. Fantasia breezed through town as well with VH-1 cameras in tow. She is working on her untitled reality series for VH-1 airing in the Fall. Being that Fantasia herself was tee mom, she definitely wanted to lend her voice to help prevent and educate teens on pregnancy.
