For the last 2 years I have been waiting to see Ciara on the big-screen.  I was told the other day that this was about to happen …  Finally, after several delays and re-shoots, ‘Mama, I Want To Sing!’ will make its world premiere at the top of next year.

I was told the reason that the film had taken so long to come out is partly because of paper work issues.. One of the stars changed management and had to work out legal issues before her image could be released… I was also told that the director didn’t like many of the scenes after reviewing them for editing, saying that alot of the scenes needed to be re-shot …  I was also told that the film will be going to movie theaters, it was reported that the film might be going striaght to video, or aired on BET, which is so untrue  ….

Presented by BET Networks, the highly-anticipated musical starring Ciara and Lynn Whitfield.

This film is based on the hit off-Broadway stage play by Vy Higginsen. It was loosely based on the career of her late sister, R&B vocalist Doris Troy, whose big hit was 1963’s ‘Just One Look.’ The musical ran for eight years at Harlem’s Heckscher Theater, making it the longest-running off-Broadway black theater musical in history.

Directed by Charles Randolph-Wright with Jeff Clanagan, Marvet Britto, Holly Davis Carter, and David Pomier serving as producers of the film, the cast also includes Patti LaBelle, Prophetess Juanita Bynum (in her film debut), Hill Harper, Ben Vereen, Billy Zane, Marvin Winans, Kevin Phillips, Kim Porter, Ross Francis, Shonda Farr, and Mariah Roberson.

In speaking to Black Voices, Randolph-Wright stated: “I am thrilled that the first screening of ‘Mama, I Want To Sing!’ will be at the Urbanworld Film Festival. The financial crisis placed the world on hold, especially independent films, but despite setbacks, we kept working on the film. What the audience will see is not yet the finished product, but it was extremely important to all of us to be involved in Urbanworld, because Urbanworld is OUR world!”

The other day the internet reported that my homie Ciara was engaged to Rapper 50 Cent and I have to say that I was lost for words but after giving her and all her peps a call I found out that, that was so untrue… Ciara although she might want to be one day, is not currently engaged … Here are some pic’s of her and her new BFF Kim Kardashian

I was on Bossip.com and saw this story about CiCi.. and her Boo… This is what they said:

A BOSSIP.com insider and close friend of the couple say that Ciara and No Cents have been chopping for a minute, but do not like the press involved.

I just talked to 50 and he said to keep it under wraps, but him and Ciara…… are still together. They are coming out with something soon to show the world their affection for each other. It has been an off and on relationship with both of them taking time from the relationship for their careers. When ever they see each other, the two continue from where they left off. Now that they are getting older, the two are taking their relationship a lot more serious and will be going public in the near future.

Jay-Z and Ciara fans in Atlanta are in need of a rain check. I have to tell yall that  I am so pissed I had to pay 20 dollars to park and didn’t get to see Jay-Z or CiCi perform. This was the first time the concert venue ever canceled a concert. One of the managers said, “We can’t have it, because of all the lightening.” Although I didn’t to see them do their thing I did get the chance to go bacsstage and talk to my girl CiCi.

Ciara told me how she was just getting over the flu when Jay-Z walked in (he had just got off a private jet). I have to say that he was so cool and laid back, I would have gotten pictures but I didn’t have my camera at the time. Jay tried to speak to everyone that was in the room. CiCi was the opening act and Jay Z was going to be joined by Memphis Bleek and Free Way. The concert does not have a new date as of now in Atlanta because Jay-Z was supposed to come back in the fall when his album drops. Singer Ciara is standing by R&B star Chris Brown when it comes to music. Brown is charged with felony assault after an incident with singer Rihanna back in February. He shares a song with Ciara on her new album “Fantasy Ride” due in stores today. Ciara tells MTV News it is more about the music for her, than anything else, and she has, quote, “kept it there.” The singer admits to initially debating over whether to keep the Brown song titled “Turntables” on the disc, but she came to the realization that the song simply made sense for the album. “Fantasy Ride” also features Ciara’s hit collaboration with Justin Timberlake, “Love Sex Magic.” The disc drops today. While Brown is still featured on Ciara’s album, he has been axed from plenty of other projects. Since the alleged domestic abuse incident, Wrigley suspended a Doublemint gum commercial campaign featuring the singer. He also backed out of the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards and several radio stations have refused to play his music.

Ciara’s third album is due out tomorrow, and she’s is making sure to get the word out. The R&B star is scheduled to make a pair of TV appearances today to promote her disc “Fantasy Ride.” First up, Ciara will take the stage on ABC’s “Good Morning America.” Later this morning, the singer’s slated to appear on the syndicated show “Live with Regis and Kelly.” Ciara’s “Fantasy Ride” features the singles “Never Ever” featuring Young Jeezy, and “Love Sex Magic” featuring Justin Timberlake. The CD hits stores tomorrow.

Over the weekend text messages went out from a hater, that said ” Ciara, Atlanta princess got knocked up by 50 cent”.  I got 10 calls asking me if the rumor was true. I then called and ask the source if it was true she replied No No No not at all. Ciara spent her easter with her granny and friends…. Ciara album Fantasy Ride comes out May 5
