Now, we must patiently wait…

Dwight Howard has finished meeting with five potential teams:  Houston Rockets, Dallas Mavericks, Atlanta Hawks, Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Lakers.  We anticipate a decision soon, possibly as early as July 10th.

Apparently the Dallas Mavericks have asked Lamar Odom to TAKE  SEVERAL SEATS (In the Stands) and join the inactive list. Wow! Who thinks it was Lamar’s Big Mouth Wife might have caused his early departure? I did read somewhere Lamar said it was an amicable decision! Amicable-Deplicable Mutual decision my a$$! Lamar Odom Taking Time Off To Be With Father

Lamar Odom is stepping away from the basketball court to deal with a serious family matter. E! News says the Dallas Mavericks star was absent from Wednesday’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers because his father, Joe Odom, is dealing with an illness. Lamar and his wife, Khloe Kardashian Odom, flew to Los Angeles earlier this week to be with Joe. While details about Joe’s condition haven’t been revealed, one source describes the situation as “very serious.” READ MORE

Welp…. it looks like a lot of people are having to eat their words this morning, with the results of yesterday’s NBA finals game. They won the NBA Finals on Sunday night, with a 105-95 conquest of the Miami Heat, destroying, in an instant, whatever doubts we still had about this team.

I must admit I am a little bitter about the outcome because I am team Lebron no matter where he is. But I will say this has been one of the most enjoyable final 7’s I’ve watched in a while. Hats go out to the Dallas Mavs. They fought the fight to the end and received the victory they deserved after a very long season of beast-ing on the NBA teams.

Now everyone who knows me for the most part knows that I dont really watch sports because it doesnt necessarily hold my intrest. However last nights game was one of the best games I have ever seen. With 6:20 remaining in Game 2 of the NBA Finals in Miami, the Dallas Mavericks trailed the Miami Heat 88-73 and looked certain to face a 2-0 gap heading into their three home games in the series. The Heat just looked like quicker, faster, and more engaged team, particularly Dwyane Wade, who finished with 36 points. READ MORE
