 Two men who are rather familiar with the Jackson family are spending time by one another in prison. According to TMZ, Michael Jackson’s former doctor Conrad Murray is in an administrative segregation cell a few feet away from Michael’s former brother-in-law, James DeBarge.
DeBarge, who was the lead singer of the group DeBarge, was married to Janet Jackson for less than a year in the 1980s.
DeBarge and Murray run into one another from time to time, but they are not friends.
DeBarge’s lawyer says James is “really upset” that he’s so close to Murray because he always thought of Michael as a brother
Conrad Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter back in November for his role in Michael Jackson’s 2009 death.
He has been sentenced to the maximum penalty of four years, although he’s expected to be released before his sentence is finished.
James DeBarge is serving time for assault with a deadly weapon and drug charges. Here’s his hit song – Rhythm Of The Night
