It looks like the self-proclaimed “best rapper alive” is taking a break from rap. Lil Wayne said in a recent phone interview with DJ Drama on Atlanta’s Hot 107.9 that his music is taking a “back seat to skating.” Wayne explains that the sport has gone from a hobby to a lifestyle for him, and if he wants to be fully committed to skating, he says needs to “live that lifestyle.” The emcee goes on to say he feels it’s time for a break from the rap game.
