As if the prospect of Soulja Boy fighting Chris Brown on pay-per-view television were not enough, Meek Mill has now suggested he and Drake should join the ranks of R&B stars and rappers settling their beefs in the boxing ring.

On the opening night of the Summer Sixteen Tour, Drake took another shot at Toronto singer, Tory Lanez and fellow Young Money labelmate, Tyga. He was on the second verse of Summer Sixteen when he changed the lyrics to, “All you boys doing fake ‘Controlla’ wanna be me a little.” Burn!
Billboard Hot 100 and Hot 200 charts with the single “One Dance” and the album “Views” by Drake have literally gone off the charts. Drake makes history for the first time as the second male artist to have a No. 1 song and album in the country for seven weeks! Who can guess the first to do it?
The King of Pop! Yes, that is right everyone Drake has managed to tie with Michael Jackson. He was the only other male artist to the achieve the same feat back in 1983 with the singles “Billie Jean” and “Thriller”. The Beatles and Whitney Houston are the only two other acts in the chart’s history.
Now, I know that people have mixed feelings about him breaking this record and i am one of them. Personally, I don’t think that this is necessarily the album that should have broke this record. I think that his album “Take Care” is much much better but then again I do understand that that album wasn’t going to hit the charts like that because of when it came out, he was a new artist.
I am proud of his accomplishments but let me just say that the ratings and measurements for people to stay on charts like these have definitely changed.
Drake and Rihanna are still making the crowd go crazy with their coordinated performance of her song “Work” from her latest album “ANTI” on her tour. Rumor has it of course that Drake gets more than weak in the knees when he is around her and people speculate that they are an item. Now, I know that this has been the hot topic before but I really don’t think it’s more than a show. What are your thoughts?
I don’t think Rihanna will be in a serious relationship for a while. I really hope that she does get married one day though. Not that marriage or happiness is about age at all but I feel like she has a permanent wall up that has been there since the entire Chris Brown incident.
I don’t know if Drake has the magic touch to even start to break that wall down but we will see.
It also seems as though Drake has a type, which would be girls from the island. With his recent but not recent fallout with Nicki Minaj he has had it rough in the love realm as well. It is very evident that he has a true love for the caribbean from their language to their culture which is portrayed all in his music.
Well, however things turn out I just hope the two of them find happiness and some stability at the right time at their lives.
FREDDYO EXCLUSIVE: THE 2016 BET AWARDS with Beyonce, Bryshere Gray, Fantasia, Migos, Janelle Monae, Maxwell and more
The 2016 BET Awards was epic and by far one of the best awards the Network has done so far. The show was hosted by “Black-ish” stars Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross who’s great chemistry and playfulness energized fans and prepared audiences at the Microsoft Theater and across the world for a fun show. The show was hot from start with Beyoncé and Kendrick Lamar getting everyone in formation to the close out with the beautiful Sheila E honoring her mentor and friend Prince. I can recap the in between and share my behind the scenes photos after the break. READ MORE

It’s been quite a year for Rap-rockstar, Future. In the past 12 months, we’ve seen the release of his third studio album, DS2, which just went platinum last month, and fourth album, EVOL. We loved the eclectic topics and banging beats we heard on mixtapes Purple Reign, and What A Time To Be Alive, a joint mixtape featuring Canadian superstar, Drake. We’ve also heard about him in the news recently for winning a messy custody battle with R&B superstar and ex-fiancée, Ciara. And in the same breath, he dropped his suit against her. It seems like he’s on a winning streak, especially after dropping the mixtape art for Monster 2, a follow-up to his 2014 effort, on Spinrilla just last week, but now we’re just left wondering: when is it coming out?
According to Drake’s instagram post this morning, he is excited to announce that he has held the #1 spot on two types of the BillBoard categories consecutively for over a month. Views has done numbers on scales that I am sure Drake never imagined it would! The album is amazing and that has definitely shown through the number of recent listens and sales.
Drake posted that the album “V I E W S” is on the Billboard 200 for the 6th week in a row and his single “One Dance” is #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the 5th week in a row! Can you say a m a z i n g?
There is always criticism and for this particular album it came from two different angles, some thought it wasn’t “hard” enough and some thought it was great how it was. Drake always gets a lot of heat for allegedly “pretending” to be something that he is not through his songs but personally I think this album was definitely is Drake. He makes songs that you can just cruise to in your car and they are usually very sentimental which is perfectly fine!
I love his angle in the industry and I am very proud of him!
