Eve is trying to keep her name clean and recently put on the market with an asking price of $2,295,000 her Hollywood Hills home. According to property records, Eve purchased her homely house in the hills of Hollywood in December of 2005 for $1,775,000. Records show that the three story residence, which shares a gated driveway with another, equally architecturally challenged house, measures 4,297 square feet and includes 4 bedrooms and 5 bath. In other news, Eve has left Interscope records and plans to release a new album titled “Lip Lock” later this year. She is part of a U.S. Senate investigation into the illicit laundering of millions of foreign dollars by her former boyfriend, Teodorin Nguema Obiang.

2010 doesn’t look like its going to be a good year for Eve. According to the Hiphopenquirer.com the rapper is planning to release an upcoming album this year, BUT an impending investigation into her involvement in what US Senators are calling “Illicit Movement of Millions of Foreign Dollars through the American Financial System” may possibly distract attention off of the long awaited release of her new music.

Senate investigators have devoted three years tracking money flowing into the United States from accounts of Eve’s “on-off and on” again boyfriend Teodorin Nguema Obiang. He is the playboy son of President Teodoro Mbasogo of Guinea. According to reports released last night, Obiang used middle men – lawyers, escrow and real estate agents, and in one case, used the first lady of Ruff Ryders Eve Jeffers to allegedly set up shell companies in the U.S. Through those shell companies, investigators say, Obiang wired in funds that enabled him to buy luxury cars, a $30 million dollar Malibu estate and place a down payment on a Gulfstream jet. It looks like Eve will be making a short return to the small screen. According to “Entertainment Weekly,” the rapper-actress has been tapped to appear on two episodes of Fox’s new series “Glee.” Eve will reportedly play a strict girls’ choir director from a school that rivals the show’s McKinley High School. Eve landed the role after Whitney Houston passed on it. “Glee,” which stars Matthew Morrison and Jessalyn Gilsig, aired a pilot episode in May. The series is expected to begin its full-time run on September 16th. No word on when Eve’s two-episode arc will air. Eve’s acting career has included several TV projects. From 2003 to 2006, the rapper starred in her own self-titled sitcom on the now-defunct UPN network. She also made guest appearances on the shows “Third Watch” and “One on One.” Eve has also starred in the films “Barbershop,” “XXX” and “The Cookout.”
