Beyonce is known for being extremely private about her personal life. A situation that took place at Lord & Taylor’s Fashion Night out goes on to further prove it. Beyonce’s baby sister Solange Knowles was djing for the event so of course she attracted a number of people who wanted to have conversation with her. However, Hoda Kotb ( a co-anchor for the ‘Today’ show) was pushed back when she tried to have a conversation with Solange.
Charles Wade, Solange’s publicist, got all up in the Today show anchor’s face asking her, “What do you want to talk to Solange about? She won’t answer questions about Beyonce.” Hoda Kotb tried to let Solange’s publicist know that she just wanted to talk to her about the event. He still wasn’t having it though. He went on further to preach, “She won’t answer any questions about Beyoncé … I need to know what questions you’ll ask.” There you have it folks. Beyonce has got everybody on lock down. Not a peep is going to be coming out about this pregnancy unless Bey says so. READ MORE

Last night, Judy and Michael Mauldin of R&B Hip Hop 4 Humanity along with Bentley Atlanta and The Atlantan hosted the star-studded “A Night to Remember†fundraiser and tribute to fashion pioneer Bethann Hardison and the late designer Willi Smith at Atlanta’s Atlantic Station. “A Night to Remember” starts off Atlanta’s celebration of Fashion’s Night Out on September 8th. All proceeds from “A Night to Remember” will benefit the Mauldin Scholarship Fund at Savannah College of Art & Design, as well as Invisible Beauty, a documentary by Bethann Hardison.
Model Tyson Beckford and WSB TV’s Jovita Moore were the MCs of the fundraiser, which included a performance by singer Kenny Lattimore, a presentation to Hardison and Smith, and a runway show featuring model and tv personality Cynthia Bailey.
Interior designer Michael Habachy of HGTV’s “Design Wars†turned the loft space above Z Gallerie into a white wonderland with multi-colored lighting.
The fashion show was real nice and a ton of celebs came out including: Actress Jasmine Guy, former model Gail O’Neill, Anna Maria Horsford, Toya & Memphitz Wright, Trina & Towanda Braxton, Tameka Raymond (one of the show’s stylists), attorney/Real Housewives’ Phaedra Parks, singer/songwriter Crystal Nicole, choreographer Andrea Kelly, singer Dondria, entrepreneur Peter Thomas, Derek Blanks, Atlanta City Councilman Kwanza Hall, Roger Bobb, Kenny Burns (V103) all came out to support “A Night to Remember.”
I had the chance to talk to Toya & Memphitz and they were telling me how they were in LA and be on the watch for big things from them!
