D.M.C. Took Over Luckies With His Boy Frank Ski

Last week D. M. C., from Run DMC took over Luckies night club performing a mini concert for his boy Frank Ski who has it poppin every friday night. I was almost lost for words cause I really didn’t know any of his songs but saw that everyone in the club sang his music word for word, and was acting like they where going to lose their minds. I decided to go buy two of his albums so I could have that same understanding that everyone else had and did a lot of research about him and was really impressed. I have to say that I really need to step up my game. P.S. Here is a little info about the group.

Run-D.M.C. was an influential hip hop group from Hollis, in the Queens borough of New York City. Founded by Joseph “DJ Run” Simmons, Darryl “D. M. C. ” McDaniels, and Jason “Jam-Master Jay” Mizell, the group is arguably one of the most influential acts in the history of hip hop. They were the biggest act in hip-hop throughout the 1980s and are credited with breaking hip hop into mainstream music.

Frank Ski… AKA “Doo Doo Brown Celebrates His Birthday!!!”

This weekend the man who’s been waking up Atlanta every morning for the past 10 years celebrated his birthday in true grand style….Frank Ski turned 25 again and to celebrate his good friend Music Industry Vet Kevin Liles thru him a private dinner and party or shall I say “Parties”….

Yep it was like 5 parties in one…with the main party being outside under a tent and when you proceeded into the “7 MILLION” house it was a party on all 4 floors including the roof! With a dj and bar on every floor, Frank Ski’s birthday party literally rocked the house! A mix of Atlantas most important people from Politicians to artists came out to show “Doo Doo Brown” some birthday love…

Special shout out to Carrabba’s for all the great food and to the bartenders and waiters for the endless champagne! I must say after this party, I am determined to step my tax bracket up, I “NEED” a house like that to come home to, party to and swimming on my own roof wont hurt! Lol

Every week I tell yall another celebrity came out well last week it was the one and only Kevin Liles who came out to show love to his boy Mr Ski. Kevin who is in town working with Grandhustle and Tyler Perry told me that he will be doing more with production, and the later part of 2009 will be a big year for him… Liles was president of Daf Jam Recording and executive vice president of “The Island Def Jam Music Group” from 1999 to 2004. Frank Ski Takes Over Lucky, But Why Was Rocsi Hiding

Last week Frank Ski hosted his weekly party at Lucky Lounge and all his all star friends came to celebrate with him. The club was packed and it was people doing all types of things on the dance floor. Trey songz and JD came to show some love. After being there for about 10 minutes I saw someone hiding in the corner not knowing who it was and me being nosey I had to go look to my surprise it was Ms. Rocsi from 106 and park. After asking if I could get a pic of her she quickly replied — no, no,no, not at all, and did her hand movement to tell me to leave. I am thinking damn does she not know who I am, (LOL I am Freddyo) so I gave her a card, she looked at it and not giving a damn threw it on the table. Why Rocsi, Why… I was such a big fan but she gave me no love, O well… Now I see why they say don’t ask just take the pics. Paps I let us down… If only I could have gotten pics of her dropping it, like it was hot. Anyway I have to give a big shout out to my Girl Cannon, who also celebrated her 25th birthday party!!!! ….
