Drake is currently in his hometown of Toronto hosting his 6th annual OVO Fest. It features the likes of Future, Kanye West, and more. last night however, in the THICK of the #DrakeVsMeek beef, Drake performed “Charged Up” and “Back to Back”… literally BACK TO BACK!
In the video, the crowd is reciting their Hometown hero’s lyrics to “Back to Back.” It has plenty of energy for his performance, as he goes on a neverending tirade to make a fool out of Meek Mill. It definitely has an “01 Summerjam” feel to it.

On Monday night, Atlanta went back to the Future, or Future came back to Atlanta, rather. Causing a frenzy, the highly celebrated rapper promised fans a free performance to show his appreciation, as he will do in Chicago, New York and Los Angeles. In true trending topic style, once word hit the streets on the where, fans lined up, starting at 3:00am to gain a coveted ticket to the event.
Performing for 800 adoring and insatiable fans, the Atlanta native rolled through cuts from his latest newly released project “Dirty Sprite 2″ with close friends and family by his side. “It’s necessary,” he stated of the show. “I love this city and the city loves me. We make magic together.”
One special guest, Andre 3000 sipped bottled water in the back of the room and sang along merrily to the catalogue of passionate street anthems. Future thanked the crowd, changed into a logo-laced FreeBandz tee and toasted himself, his supporters and his future.

Future shut down DTLR at South Dekalb Mall in Decatur, GA. More than 2000 people came out to meet the Atlanta rapper and purchase his latest album Dirty Sprite 2. V103 and DJ Greg Street hosted the event and set up a live remote from the location. Future pulled up in a s600 Benz with a driver and his entourage. He was excited to meet all his Atlanta fans that hold him down. Special thanks to Mike Smoke, and the DTLR owners and staff. They did a great job pulling off this event. Just one day before Dirty Sprite 2 drops, Future continues to let fans inside his creative process in Like I Never Left. In this fourth installment of the documentary series he explains his approach to making the album, and he speaks on how he makes hits through melodies.
The second part of Future‘s Like I Never Left documentary dropped today. Ciara’s baby daddy stopped while he was on the road opening for Drake‘s “Jungle Tour” stop in Toronto to make some new music with producer in Noah “40” Shebib. Future chops it up again with Elliott Wilson about this work flow, and how he has consistently dropped chart topping singles every year since he’s been out.
“I came back and dropped nothing but street records after I done dropped No. 1 records. Came back with the mixtapes and gave away free after I had achieved a certain amount of success in the industry and being a superstar in the game or so to speak whatever…To come back to my essence, to my core fans and deliver something that they can accept and live with and feel great about, and accept me as one of your own… like I never left.”
