There are rumors spreading that former NBA Allstar Shaquille “Shaq” Oneal and long time girlfriend  Nicole “Hoopz” Alexander” have split up.  Apparently after a visit to an Orlando Metro Gymnastics facility, Hoopz had a verbal altercation with one of the employee’s when she was told that they did not train people over the age of 18 due to insurance reasons.

Gabby Douglas has one of her first major interviews last night on the Today Show with Jay Leno. Gabby was accompanied by none other that Mrs. Michelle Obama herself. The YBF reports the following:
16-year-old Gabby Douglas just made history and is named the first African-American to win the all-around Olympic gold medal, the biggest individual prize in gymnastics.
She is known as “The Flying Squirrel,†and completely out-performed, dominated the competition, and before her closest competitor, Russia’s Victoria Komova even finished her floor routine, everyone in the area knew Douglas was the winner.
Gabby spoke on her win:
“I wanted to seize the moment,â€
“It hasn’t sunk in yet. Team finals hasn’t sunk in yet. But it will.â€
With her history-making performance, Douglas is sure to be the talk of the games now, securing her place along side legendary gymnasts like Mary Lou Retton, Carly Patterson, and Nastia Liukin.
