This is not Edna Jester Just a funny Pic

I can remember when I was a child and would be out playing ball and the ball would go in the neighbors yard.  Sometimes they would go off saying not to play on their grass.  When I saw this story I knew I had to tell yall about it. An 89-year-old Ohio woman faces a charge of petty theft because neighborhood children say she refused to give back their football. Edna Jester was placed under arrest last week and taken to the police station in the Cincinnati suburb of Blue Ash.

Police say there had been an ongoing dispute over the errant football and a child’s father called to report that Jester kept the ball after it landed in her yard. Blue Ash Police Capt. James Schaffer says police warned Jester twice and finally had to take action. She said she told these kids not to be playing in her yard but “they dont want to listen so I had to show their ass… ”

A Elderly women decided to go to jail rather than pay her bill at a Fort Pierce Waffle House restaurant. The total she went to jail over: $7.45. According to a police report, Maryanne O’Neill, 66, ordered coffee and a sandwich at a Waffle House restaurant on Saturday but refused to pay the bill. The report said an officer asked her to pay or go to jail and she refused. A jail official said she was released Monday from the St. Lucie County Jail. She was charged with obtaining food or lodging with intent to defraud, a second degree misdemeanor. If convicted of a second degree misdemeanor she could face up to 60 days in jail and a fine of $500. Damn, so no one in Waffle House offered to help Grams out?

I know times are hard for us all but what if that was your grandma or great aunt or something? Jeez, folks no compassion these days.
