My  big homie and one of Atlanta’s top radio personalities, Ryan Cameron, recently had a surprise party thrown for him at Stankonia Studio’s! All of Ryan’s friends and family were in attendance to show him some love that was well deserved. Stankonia Studios was full of belly dancers( that gave the birthday boy a little dance lol) and a whole lot of food. And if you follow me on Twitter [@freddyo] then you know it was hard as hell for me to not eat nothin due to my fast.

In attendance to help him celebrate was Kandi, Slim from 112, Rasheeda, Devine Stephens, Greg Street, Ronnie Devoe, Frankie, Neffi, and Fonsworth Bentley.

After a loooong hiatus, one half of the legendary hip hop duo Outkast,Big Boi is back and ready to take over the world one city at a time. For the past 2 years and almost 2 months Big has been in the studio knocking out hit after hit for his solo project “Sir Luscious Left Foot”.

Big Boi along with V-103 gave Atlanta the first opportunity to listen to the LP at his studio Stankonia. Let me tell yall this has to be one of the best hip hop albums to be released in a looong time. I love the album and have to say he put his foot in this album, he going to be hitting the world with many hits. I think this just may be the album that is going to save the state of hip hop.

The listening party did not only celebrate Big Boi’s progression in hip hop, but  they also made it a birthday celebration for V103’s Ryan Cameron. of course it was star studded, although some of these people aren’t “stars”, but thats neither here nor there, some of the guests included: Kandi, Slim from 112, Rasheeda, Devine Stephens, Greg Street, Ronnie Devoe, Frankie, Neffi, and Fonsworth Bentley helped celebrate.

Cyhi da Prynce

I spotted Cyhi da Prynce last night in Lucky Lounge (wed night). Most dont know who he is yet. he had the big song, sweet georgia with the guitars. he’s signed to def jam konvict & could be the next big artist from the atl. He has the potential to be as big as outkast & ti. that may sound far fetched but listen to this mixtape & watch this video & you’ll see. remember the 1st site to tell you this is freddyo.com.

The Big Homie Greg Street did it again with the biggest Sneaker Show in Atlanta History! Sneaker Friends 09 was crazy at 595 North. I can’t front last year it wasn’t that packed but this year it was crazy! Now I’m not the biggest sneaker head but I have to say the flyest of the flyest kicks were in the building last night. Seriously some of the sneakers I saw cost up to $8,000!!! Andre 3000 came out and showed his support along with other major sneaker heads! The man with the largest Nike Air Forces collection in the world was their…check out all the pics in the gallery…Click Here

Ciara & Greg Street Hit The Airwaves

Ok, I have to say I love me some CiCi, that’s my friend till the end. Ciara hit the airwaves with all her new music the other day to let the world know she’s back and got hits on deck… I have exclusive footage of ATL’s princess joking around with Mr. 6 o’clock himself. If you ever wondered about the 50/ CiCi rumors, the homie Greg Street brought it up in a not so subtle way… Hummmm I wonder I guess well will have to wait and see… LOL

Here is a picture from Ciara’s album cover she will be releasing a video telling vivid details about the album art work, the new LP Fantasy Ride is due out May 5, 2009. I have to say she really is out to change the game and bring back how album-covers use to be and still should be.

T.I Stops By The Teen Violence Panel At Morris Brown

Monday March 23rd 2009

The King Foundation, Y.E.S, Music Education Group, and Its Cool to be Smart, all joined forces to present a teen violence panel featuring Killer Mike, Bone Crusher, and T. I. Hosted by V103’s very own Greg Street, the panel discussion showed a different side of TIP. He gave a powerful speech that took me by surprise. I never really thought of the multi-platinum rapper as a preacher,  but his words were so moving it was as if Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. had come down and taken over! Here is the speech I promise you will be moved….
