One1 Nation “Jay & Lil-1” Perform at iNetwork event titled “Black Hair Story“. Photo shown above w/local artist “Jaquise”. Dredlocks, Afro puffs, Twists and Braids filled the room at this Natural Hair Event. Host “Headcrack” of Hot107.9 along with Rashida Jenkins CEO of iNetwork Inc. invited the community out for an evening of Live Entertainment by One1 Nation, the Aquanauts, Hair-Styling, Nyssa GreenRoom Agency, Food prepared by Chef Santana Burriss (sneak menu peek – Signature Soul Rolls, Spinach Crab & Artichoke Tarts, Baked Cheese Farfelli,& Shrimp Skewers over Salsa) Yum! He did that! This annual Hair/Art event was held at EllaRose Natural Hair Salon. The best part of the night was the complimentary cocktails “Qream” a new liquer by Pharrell Williams. There was strawberry and peach and when I tell you it was “da Bomb”!!! Does anyone still say that? Oh well, A whole lot of Natural Hair Styles was floating around the room. Ok, ladies? Mayor Kasim Reed opened up the 2011 school year with a celebrity-studded pep rally at Jean Childs Young Middle School in southwest Atlanta. Sending out the call that morning, rapper Diamond, actress Terri J. Vaughn and R&B newcomers K. Michelle and Tiffani Tyree, as well as Jazzy McBee from Hot 107.9,  came running to support the great cause.
