Jacob Latimore is RNB’s hottest you star. Â He cruised into Atlanta’s For Sisters Only and hit the stage like he was a veteran in the music game. Â TheÂ Crown World/RCA Records singer performed some of his biggest hits and had the young ladies in the crowd screaming for more!
In addition to singing, Jacob Latimore is also an actor. Â He’s appeared in several episodes of Tyler Perry’s House of Pain and the CW Network’sÂ One Tree Hill. Â He also had a big screen movie roll in Vanishing on 7th Street.

The top kid act Mindless Behavior apologized to Lauryn Hill for the joke group member Ray Ray made at Sunday nightâ€™s BET Awards. The Group won the shows Top award “Viewers Choice” then took to Twitter to take back the shocking remark.We meant no disrespect to our girl Lauryn Hill last night, it was a bad joke.

Recently, I had the chance to attend recording artist and ABC’s “Lincoln Heights” alum Mishon’s celebrity listening session. He brought out friends Jacob Latimore, Dondria, The Yes Ma’ams and R.L. formally of the R&B group â€˜Nextâ€™ for the first listen to his new project entitled “Dorm Room Music.” The crew of R&B lovers embraced their fellow peer’s music with body rocks of soulful rhythm and head nods of instant approval. The city of Atlanta experienced some of the south’s biggest teen acts at the Applaud the Kings concert at Space Atlanta. Starring break-out artists, Jacquees and Issa, special guests and performances included BET’s 106 & Park regulars Jacob Latimore (RCA/Sony), Jawan Harris, Hamilton Park, Trevonte, Key Swagg(MeMph Hitz Artist) and recently signed to Ludacris/ DTP duo TK-N-Cash. The sold out event with thousands of teens wall to wall was held in an effort to bring greater awareness to the importance of stopping bullying and raise funds for their perspective schools’ anti-violence campaigns.
Â The concert line also featured appearances by JoJo Simmons, Darnell Robinson of MTV’s Sweet 16 and YouTube superstars, Emmanuel & Phillip Hudson, known for their Rachet Girl Anthem. Jacquees, known for his powerful voice on his highly visited YouTube channel and Issa, the youngest rapper signed to RCA are preparing to take the concert on the road this summer for a national production. One of Atlanta’s top radio personalities Ryan Cameron, recently held his 4th annual Â Free Youth Health Fair in Atlanta. Celebrities such as Jacob Latimore, various health services and charities were there to support Ryan.
People often say a mind is Â a terrible thing to waste but so is the body. There are Â various health facts that revolve around the small and big things we do in our daily lives.
Did you know when you take a step, you are using up to 200 muscles? Did you know smokers get ten times more wrinkles than non-smokers? Did you know men are twice as likely to be binge drinkers than women? Did you know after age 30, the brain begins to lose about 50,000 neurons per day – shrinking the brain .25% each year? WHOA!.
Influential people such as Michelle Obama, Oprah and Atlanta’s own Ryan Cameron Â have started foundations to empower and encouraged the youth to have a more healthy and active lifestyle. Ryan Cameron’s “Healthy, Stronger, Living Longer” Free Youth Health Fair Â provided a year’s worth of FREE medical services in one day. Yes, FREE or as Ryan puts it “Free Ninety Nine”. In addition to providing free evaluations for diabetes, cholesterol, vision and dental, health drivenÂ workshops were given as well as active lifestyle demonstrations. Much love to Aetna foundation who awarded Ryan with a 25,000 donation to his charity. Â Each youth left with with an in-home gym which consisted of a hula hoop and a jump rope to maintain an active lifestyle at home.
They also left with a surprise visit from teen sensation Jacob Latimore. Jacob reminds me of a younger version of Chris Brown,Usher and Michael Jackson all in one. He’s currently on the Scream tour with Mindless Behavior, Diggy and more.
