Auto-tune-assisted hip-hop star T-Pain says he’s cool with rap icon Jay-Z. The singer recently caught up with MTV News and said he and “Hov” squashed their beef during January’s Grammy Awards. T-Pain states, quote, “We shook hands, did the little chest bump. That was the end of that.” T-Pain and Jay-Z’s bad blood arose last year when Jay released his hit single “D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune).” Jay insisted the track wasn’t directed at T-Pain, but that didn’t stop the vocalist from dissing the emcee during a Las Vegas pool party last September. T-Pain went on to issue a public apology to Jay-Z by releasing the track “More Careful.”

T-Pain is currently working on his upcoming album, “Revolver.” He says the record won’t have as many guest appearances as his last release – “Thr33 Ringz” – because he wants to prove to people that he can carry a record by himself. He states, quote, “I just want to prove some people wrong. I wanted to test myself to see if that was the case.” A release date for “Revolver” has not been announced.

Jay-Z is taking credit for one of his wife’s more popular dance moves. On Friday night, “Hov” told BBC One host Jonathan Ross that he’s the one responsible for Beyonce’s “Uh-Oh” dance. Jay-Z says, quote, “I steal routines from her. She stole many things from me. You know, I see it on stage, you know, the whole ‘Uh-Oh’ dance. I started that.” He also claims to have created the “Single Ladies” routine seen in Beyoncé’s music video for the song. Jay-Z says he suggested the hand flip for the dance and she took him up on it.
The rapper is usually quiet about his marriage to the superstar singer. But he let those performance details slip along with information on how the two spent Valentine’s Day Read the rest of this entry »

Jay-Z Wasn’t Very Happy With The “We Are The World” Remix + Him & LeBron James Host Sprite Two Kings Event

Jay-Z is reacting to the new “We Are The World 25 For Haiti” single saying, quote, “some things are just untouchable.” The rapper tells MTV.com, quote, “I know everybody is going to take this wrong…I love it, and I understand the point and think it’s great. But I think ‘We Are The World’ is like [Michael Jackson's] “Thriller” to me. I don’t ever want to see it touched.” Jay-Z adds that while he appreciates the efforts made through the song to help the victims of the January 12th Haiti earthquake, he adds that a new song should have been written for the occasion. The legendary emcee says the track’s producer, Quincy Jones, is a “genius” who he respects very much. But he also points out that he made an effort to write a new song for Haiti.
Jay-Z says, quote, “I tried to do that with ‘Stranded’…I didn’t try to make ‘We Are The World,’ but I tried to make our take on how we felt.” Jay-Z’s “Stranded” was unveiled on the George Clooney-hosted “Hope For Haiti Now” telethon last month. The song features Rihanna, along with U2’s Edge and Bono. The video for “We Are The World 25 For Haiti” premiered before the opening ceremonies for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver last Friday.

In Other News Concreteloop.com is reporting that LeBron James and Jay-Z pose for a photo with some mentoring program participants at the ‘Sprite Two Kings Dallas Elevators Mentoring’ Event on Saturday (Feb. 13) in Dallas, Texas. The program was developed to give students an opportunity to elevate their lives, through a dynamic curriculum and a series of unique professional experiences.

Jay-z-twitter-page

I never thought this day would come.  www.krediblealerts.com posted that yes, those are Jay-Z’s hands you see sending out Twitter updates. Under whose account you ask? Jay-Z jumped on Angie Martinez Twitter account this afternoon, while stopping by Hot 97. He shouted out to all her followers that it was him and that he was having trouble “twitting” and needed help.

jay-z

In Other news  the homie Necolebitchie.com posted that earlier today Jay-z  also spoke to Angie about claims that he is a “devil worshipper” and part of a secret society.

I don’t know where it started. I don’t know where it came from. I really think it’s really silly. For the record, I of course believe in God, but I believe in one God. If people must know my religious beliefs, I believe in one God. I don’t believe in religion. I don’t believe in Christians or Muslims. I think all that separates people. I think it’s one God. I think it’s all the same God, and I don’t believe in Hell. But as far as God, of course I believe in God. Am I a part of some sect or cult? That sounds stupid to me. It’s like ignorant to even say, and umm… I guess that’ll be the last time I address that. It’s ignorant to me”

Wait till yall read the rest and see the pic’s
