50 Cent takes yet another jab at a rapper, but this time it was a legend, thats right none other than Jay Z! I don’t if 50 lost some of his brain cells over time from that shooting or wha but this nigga done lost his mind!

50 teamed up with Beanie Sigel to record the song “I Go Off,” which premiered on Hot 97 and Power 99. No 50 does not have a verse on the track, but in the beginning he has a skit where it is completely clear who he is talking about:

“You changed, man. You let the money change you, Jay. You used to be from Marcy, nigga. Now you a ‘Pass the Grey Poupon nigga’. You don’t want the shooters? I’ll take em. Feed the wolves, or the wolves will feed off you. It’s your move, nigga.”

50 cool and all, but I’m starting to wonder if he feels like he’s falling off, and that speaking bad on damn near everybody will help his career, who knows.

What Do You Think About The BET Hip Hop Awards 2009?

If I could describe the 2009 Bet Hip Hop Awards in one word I would say Gucci. Rapper, Gucci Mane made several appearances on tonight’s Hip Hop Awards. I must say tonight was his time to shine. Even Soulja Boy’s performance was centered around Gucci; both the fashion label and the rapper. I would have to say that BET was very successful at putting the spotlight on Atlanta’

s hip hop and rap artists. With Gucci Mane, Soulja Boy and The Dream making at least 2 appearances on stage for performances, it was clear where the award show was hosted.

It was very entertaining to see Snoop Dogg back on stage in his Parental Advisory jeans. And who knew Kid and Play would make an appearance doing their famous dance on stage together to present an award. Goodie Mob gave us all a taste of what Hip Hop in Atlanta really is from their lyrical flow on to their classic singles and their unique fashion sense. Who can forget Jay-Z and Jeezy’s performance? They make a great collaboration.

Mike Epps did an extraordinary job as the host. Unlike some other comedians who host an award show, he was able to entertain, keep the audiences interest and bring live to the show in between award presentations and performances. Nice choice of host this year BET!

Ice Cube was the perfect honoree of the 2009 Bet Hip Hop Awards’ I Am Hip Hop Award. Ice Cube’

s influence on Hip Hop music as a rapper, accomplishments in the community, success as a actor and in his own film business make for all the reasons why he deserved this award.

Missy Elliot and Fatima Robinson, who both coincidentally worked close Aaliyah, also deserved their honors for their influence in the Hip Hop culture. These women especially made an impact by being a couple of the very few success stories for women in this genre of music. Missy is the only woman in Hip Hop to have 6 platinum albums. Her creativity is displayed in her different sense of music and the expression of her songs in her distinct videos. Fatima is one of the best choreographers Hip Hop has known. She creatively put together the most entertaining and trendsetting dances seen in the videos and concerts in artists such as Brandy, Busta Rhymes, Aaliyah, Michael Jackson, Mary J. Blige, R. Kelly, Prince, OutKast and more.g others.

The BET Hip Hop Awards always seems to surprise it’

s audience with something completely different and new each year. Keep a close watch, you may never know what to expect in the upcoming years.

Jay-Z has yet another title to add to his trophy case which I have to say he should get the to award cause he has put in work but the rest of them and their number placement is some bull. MTV has been counting down its list of the best rappers in the hip-hop game, and on Monday they named Jay-Z number one. MTV’s crew of hip-hop writers based their countdown on an artist’s current success, not their career achievements. They also factored in criteria like rhyme skill, sales, airplay and endorsements. Jay-Z has been at the top of the rap game for the past few months, thanks to his latest album, “The Blueprint Three.” The record dropped on September 8th, and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart after selling 476-thousand copies in its first week out. “The Blueprint Three” has also spawned the hit singles “D.O.A.,” “Run This Town,” and “Empire State of Mind.”

MTV’s Shaheem Reid discussed “Hov’s” greatness writing, quote, “Jay-Z continues to add luster to his legacy with time-transcending music, multiple successful business ventures and his dominant influence over the game.” Following Jay-Z on MTV’s list is New Orleans emcee Lil Wayne. Up and coming Canadian rap star Drake was named number three, while controversial rap star Kanye West checks in at number four. Miami emcee Rick Ross rounds out the list’s top five. Where the hell is Tip, and Luda why are they not either 2 ,3, and 4, that’s some bull… Not trying to hate on drake but why the hell did they put him so high on the list, what the hell has he really done….. Looks like this list and MTV is on some bull….

Here is MTV’s list of the top ten emcees in the rap game:

1. Jay-Z

2. Lil Wayne

3. Drake

4. Kanye West

5. Rick Ross

6. Gucci Mane

7. Young Jeezy

8. Fabolous

9. 50 Cent

10. Raekwon

Where is Tip & Luda’s Name & Why are They Not On The List

T-Pain vs Jay-Z thanks to D.O.A.

Looks like T-Pain couldn’t bite his auto-tongue any longer. See below, and read from bottom to top.

F-a-b-o-l-o-u-s tweeted this a few hours ago. Apparently, T-Pain caught feelings about Jay-Z’s D.O.A. track. It sure did take him a while to diss Hova, or maybe this is just his first public diss???

Do you think this was planned to build hype for Blue Print 3? If not, how do you feel about T-Pain’s rant about Mr. Carter?

A bodyguard for celebrity couple Beyonce and Jay-Z had an unpleasant encounter with a Croatian cameraman in Dubrovnik this week. The couple’s security member was charged with destroying personal property and assault after exchanging blows with a paparazzo Tuesday night. Beyonce and Jay were reportedly attempting to board a boat when the bodyguard knocked the man’s camera to the ground. The 57-year-old photog then hit the man in the back with his tripod, prompting the surly security enforcer to toss it in the water. Images released on local television station RTL also show the bodyguard kicking the cameraman in the back several times. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.

Jay-Z isn’t about to let his upcoming album, “The Blueprint Three,” leak to listeners early. In fact, the emcee is so protective of his work that he will be hand-delivering the album to the head of Atlantic Records in London. An insider tells London’s “The Daily Star,” quote, “Jay is looking forward to showing off the fruits of his studio time and decided the best thing to do was take the album himself to London.” The source adds, quote, “Jay is very protective and smart and doesn’t want fans to hear tracks which aren’t quite right. He wants to give the record to the label in the UK and see which songs go down best to give him ideas about single releases.”

In 2006, Jay-Z’s release “Kingdom Come” was leaked on the social networking site MySpace. In response to the leak, Universal Music Group slapped MySpace with a copyright-infringement lawsuit. Jay-Z’s “The Blueprint Three” arrives in stores on September 11th.

Jay-Z Ciara Concert, What Really Happen

Jay-Z and Ciara fans in Atlanta are in need of a rain check. I have to tell yall that  I am so pissed I had to pay 20 dollars to park and didn’t get to see Jay-Z or CiCi perform. This was the first time the concert venue ever canceled a concert. One of the managers said, “We can’t have it, because of all the lightening.” Although I didn’t to see them do their thing I did get the chance to go bacsstage and talk to my girl CiCi.

Ciara told me how she was just getting over the flu when Jay-Z walked in (he had just got off a private jet). I have to say that he was so cool and laid back, I would have gotten pictures but I didn’t have my camera at the time. Jay tried to speak to everyone that was in the room. CiCi was the opening act and Jay Z was going to be joined by Memphis Bleek and Free Way. The concert does not have a new date as of now in Atlanta because Jay-Z was supposed to come back in the fall when his album drops. Ciara is about to go back on tour over sea’s… I will let yall know if anything changes… These are pictures of the record label winners and some of CiCi’s Dancers…
