Alicia Keys is the latest celebrity to get waxed at the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum of New York. Today was a big day for the pop star as it was also the 10th anniversary of her groundbreaking debut album Songs in a Minor. Alicia decided to celebrate this momentous occasion along with the unveiling of her wax statue with her fellow New Yorkers.
The wax figure was dressed in the custom designed black leather jumpsuit and matching motorcycle jacket that Alicia wore in the New York oriented track “Empire State of Mind” which also featured Jay-Z. When Alicia saw the statue for the first time, she was ecstatic and said “I am so excited, it’s so crazy I can’t believe it!” We can believe it though as the singer has made her mark in the music industry for years and has definitely made an impact in her hometown of New York City.
After being remixed by several big artists, Drake finally delivered us a visually stimulated video for his song “Marvin’s Room.”
Set in the club, Drake sits at the bar and throws back plenty of drinks as he raps,
“F*ck that n*gga that you love so bad/I know you still think about the times we had.”
The Run the World (Girls) singer is an advocate of female empowerment and doesnâ€™t understand women who are not the same.
â€œWhen women donâ€™t have friends, Iâ€™m afraid of them,â€ she said. â€œI grew up around women, I believe that we can teach each other so much. Iâ€™m always thinking about how unselfish we are and the things we need to hear and how much pressure there is being a woman.”

Well shortly after the BET Awards Viewers Choice Awards presenter winner announced the wrong name to the to the Viewer Choice Award. Tiffany got slammed on twitter for messing up for a mistake that was out of her control.
