Today we as people have embarked on a new era. The times have changed, the seasons have turned and the people have become vain and numb to the sensible way of living. The things we had once cared about have become waste, the decisions we’ve made as a people have created a generation of lost love for souls. Where as before the founding forefathers were brought over to America fought against the slave owners to keep their families together. Where as now people fight against their own families to get away from them by getting a divorce, or legal separation, or even as far as creating baby daddy’s and baby momma’s. How can we as a people want more out of life when life is demanding more out of us and we refuse to give more of what we have to offer back to life. The challenge to overcome every obstacle is not won by fighting the obstacle itself but by overturning its intentions to break us down and keep us from moving in the direction we were attempting to go before the challenge was in our way.

The rapper, The Game has been making moves lately in regards to the big headlines and issues we have in the black communities. He was recently at the LA Police Department with Snoop Dogg discussing possible solutions to make sure that everyone is doing their part in being just and fair. And guess what else he did just now?
The Game brought the two biggest black gang bangers around the world to make peace, Bloods and Crips. I know for a fact that the game sees the bigger picture in all of this turmoil.
It will do us no good to march the streets yelling “BLACKLIVESMATTER” after tragedies happen with white and black people but disregard the reckless and careless actions we have toward one another in the black community.
We are only not a force to be reckoned with when we come together and realize that the war is with the ignorant and uneducated people filled with fear and hate. We can not keep killing one another and make it easy for the oppressor.
The only way to win is to think smarter together!

St. Augustine once said “An unjust law is no law at all”.
Meaning if something degrades a human being or moral rights its ungodly therefore it should be unlawful.“Any law that uplifts human personality is just. Any law that degrades human personality is unjust.†We all watched as Troy Davis was humiliated and executed for a crime that he did not commit. The things that were done to Troy Davis were very unjust and will have an impact on our community as a whole for the rest of our lives.  I love art and one of the best parts about blogging is being able to say what you feel about a certain situation and not care what someone else thinks. I will continue to  fight for a “just law” on behalf of Troy Davis, his family and the African American Community. If you are in Atlanta I ask that you all come  out to this event. READ MORE
