Â Kanye West’s hit single “All of the Lights” is earning him the title of nominations leader for next year’s Grammy Awards. The rap superstar leads all artists going into February’s ceremony with seven nods. ”
All of the Lights” is up for Song of the Year, as well as Best Rap/Sung Collaboration, and Best Rap Song. Kanye’s hit solo album, “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” is also up for Best Rap Album, where it will take on his joint effort with Jay-Z, “Watch The Throne.”
Rap diva Nicki Minaj, is also in contention for several awards. She’s a contender for Best New Artist, while her debut album, “Pink Friday,” will look to take home Best Rap Album. Nicki’s hit single “Moment 4 Life” is also up for Best Rap Performance.

R&B singer Beyonce‘ has scored her third Number One song from her platinum selling album “4” with the track “Party.”
The song which features Andre3000 and J. Cole on the official remix, has shot up to number one on Billiards’ R&B/Hip Hop Chart.
The song is also the highest played track on Urban radio, with little help from promotion.
The track was the first song Beyonce’ recorded for her album “4.” The song gives an 90s vibe, to why so many people fell in love with the song. It was not long ago Beyonce’ released the music video and is also number one on 106 & Park.
Many tried to call “4” a flop, but selling more than one million units in less than five months and spawning multiple top ten hits, is a far cry from a flop. “4” has been one of the highest selling R&B albums to date for this year.
GQ magazine announced their picks for the Men of the Year 2011 issue and Jay-Z made the top five.
