A Los Angeles judge is giving the okay to Michael Jackson’s mother and nephew to share guardianship of the late pop star’s three children. The judge finalized the agreement at a court hearing on Wednesday. The ruling comes about three weeks after Jackson’s 82-year-old mother, Katherine Jackson, agreed to share the role with her 34-year-old grandson TJ Jackson. The move was made after the judge gave TJ temporary guardianship of the children during Katherine’s extended stay at an Arizona spa resort. Read More »

Video : Deputies Called To Jackson Home
Michael Jackson’s family is reportedly embroiled in more drama. TMZ says L.A. County Sheriff’s Deputies paid a visit to the Jackson Family compound in Calabasas Monday following reports of a fight between two people inside the home. No arrests were made. It’s the latest in a growing number of reports suggesting infighting among members of the Jackson clan.
Sources say the alleged fight on Monday had something to do with allegations related to a dispute over the late pop star’s financial affairs. Deputies were reportedly called to the home in April after a Jackson family associate alleged that matriarch Katherine Jackson was being emotionally and financially mistreated by family members. Katherine denied the allegations.
The Jackson family says a missing persons report involving mom Katherine Jackson is nothing more than a well-placed detractor in the family’s battle with the executors of Michael Jackson’s estate. The celebrity website Celebuzz.com quotes a statement released by the family on Monday. It reads, “This fallacious missing persons report was created by the very person and persons we are trying to protect our mother from. We feel that there is a conspiracy to deflect attention away from a letter we wrote asking for the resignation of executors John Branca and John McClain as well as some of her ‘advisors’ and ‘caregivers’.” The statement goes on to reiterate claims made in an earlier letter that accuses Branca and McClain of falsifying Michael Jackson’s will and other documents in order to takeover and profit from the late pop star’s estate.
Katherine Jackson’s nephew Trent reported her missing over the weekend after he learned that members of his family were unable to get in touch with the 82-year-old matriarch for over a week. Katherine’s son, singer Jermaine Jackson, later took to Twitter to say his mother was resting in Arizona on doctor’s orders and with his sister Rebbie. Katherine has been the guardian of Michael Jackson’s three children since the pop star’s death in 2009.
Judge Dismisses Joe Jackson’s Wrongful Death Lawsuit
A judge is denying Michael Jackson’s father his chance to get back at the people he blames for the pop star’s death. Joe Jackson’s wrongful death lawsuit against concert promoter AEG and Dr. Conrad Murray has been thrown out of court. TMZ says a judge decided to dismiss the Jackson family patriarch’s suit because his wife, Katherine, had
already filed a similar one. The judge explained that there can’t be two suits alleging the exact same thing, and since Katherine filed her suit first it will remain in court. Read More »
