Rihanna’s risque GQ cover definitely brought the celebrities out. Jamie Foxx, Common, Cassie, Ne-Yo and more attended the GQ Men of the Year Party at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, California last night.
Apparently Kid Cudi is taking his grind in an unlikely direction; attempting to sell beats via Twitter. The Cudder makes no bones about the fact that it will not be cheap to get that Cudi sound, but also expresses that he won’t work with just anyone. Sounds like dude drives a hard bargain.

It seems G.O.O.D. Music’s “Cruel Summer” is turning into more of a cruel autumn. Def Jam has announced that the compilation from Kanye West and his labelmates will be available both digitally and physically on September 4th.
G.O.O.D. member Pusha T had originally pegged the set with an August 7th release date.
Meanwhile, Kanye and Pusha are gracing the new issue of “Complex” magazine, along with fellow G.O.O.D. Music stars Kid Cudi, Big Sean, Common, John Legend, Q-Tip and 2 Chainz.
Kanye doesn’t contribute anything to the cover story, but the rest of the crew does talk about how Yeezy helps everyone and is always challenging them to be better.
Two Chainz also talks about his standing with G.O.O.D. Music, explaining that he may be an unofficial member of the team, but he still has a “great rapport” with West.
A preview of the “Complex” cover story is available now at Complex.com, while the full issue is scheduled to hit newsstands on August 7th.
Outkast’s and ATL own Big Boi is sharing more details about his upcoming solo album. The rapper has set a release date for the set he’s calling “Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors.” Big Boi tweeted “Breaking News” on Monday, saying that his sophomore solo effort would drop on November 13, 2012.
The album’s first single is a track called “Gossip,” which will feature Big K.R.I.T. and UGK. Kid Cudi and Theophilus London are also among the guests expected to show up on the album. Big Boi first revealed his plans to release “Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors” about two weeks ago, also via tweet. He said at the time that the album was “80 percent complete.” “Vicious Lies” will follow Big Boi’s 2010 solo debut “Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty.”
