Beyonce Offered $100 million For ‘X Factor’s’ : L.A. Reid Signs On For Second Season
Simon Cowell won’t be the only “X Factor” judge returning for the show’s second season. Music mogul L.A. Reid has agreed to come back for another year. According to “The Hollywood Reporter,” the Epic Records chairman signed on for a second season last Friday. News of Reid’s return comes just days after the show dropped fellow judges Paula Abdul, Nicole Scherzinger, and host Steve Jones.
U.S. weekly reports that Simon Cowell is also trying to add Beyonce to the cast of X factor as a full-time judge reportedly offering her an annual salary of $100 million to do the show.

 Nicole Scherzinger won’t be reprising her role as judge and mentor  on “The X Factor”. Sources say Nicole “wants to focus on her music career,” adding that her duties on “The X Factor” “took a lot more of her time than she ever expected.” Nicole has reportedly informed fellow mentor Simon Cowell of her decision and has received “his blessing.” Word is that Nicole and Simon did not get a long with each other at all and that it was a lot of behind the scenes drama which is why she left.

L.A. Reid Officially Named Chairman Of Epic Records
L.A. Reid says he’s looking forward to making Epic Records the “music company of tomorrow.” Epic Records officially announced Reid as the company’s new chairman and chief executive on Monday.  Reid had previously worked as the chairman of Island Def Jam, but left that position earlier this year to serve as a judge on Fox’s upcoming talent competition “The X Factor.” Epic’s stable of artists will include musicians who appear on “The X Factor,” as well as other new signings. Reid says he’s “deeply committed to discovering and developing the next generation of superstars” with his new role at Epic. Ciara Leaves Jive Records and Goes To Epic Records
It seems like Ciara is making her way back home. According to reports by Billboard, Ciara has left Jive Records and will now be joining forces with L.A. Reid (that’s who originally signed her back in 2003) under the restructured Epic Records. This looks to be a great business move for Ciara because then she would be top priority for Epic Records.
Ciara’s career is going nowhere but up now that her career will be under Reid’s direction. If you didn’t already know, Reid is responsible for helping artists like Mariah Carey, Usher, Toni Braxton, and even Kanye West reach multi-platinum sales. Rumors have circulated for months about who will join the ex-”American Idol” man’s new British import singing competition, but since the announcement of producer LA Reid as one of the show’s three judges, Cowell has gone silent with any confirmations, offering only a shortlist of candidates. He shot down the reports that Mariah Carey was set to be one of the judges, citing her pregnancy, but during a recent radio interview, he admitted that the star would have a role on the show.
