Last night Kanye West and Jay-Z hosted another private listening party for their upcoming album Watch The Throne. A lot of big name people were in the building to listen to the album too.

Of course Beyonce came out to support her man because she’s “always been a Jay-Z groupie”. Gal pal Kelly Rowland came out to the event as well. Interesting that they both were matching. I’m loving the fedora hat on Bey too. Gives us a different look for her. READ MORE

Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka hosted a private listening event last night at PatchWerk Studios in Atlanta. The Warner Bros. labelmates collaborated their newest album, 1017 Bricksquad Presents: Gucci Mane & Waka Flocka – Ferrari Boyz.

The CD will hit stores on August 9th. Gucci and Waka took turns giving background on each track. The vibe was chill and the music was right.

The playback session, sponsored by Hennessy, featured cameos from Lex Luger, Wale and Brick Squad artist Slim Dunkin. Mizay Entertainment’s Debra Antney, V103’s Greg Street and “Ferrari Boyz” producers Southside and Schife were in the building.

Earlier in the night, the media was allowed unfettered access to Waka at SkyBoxx Bar and Grill.

Shout out to Roderick Scott at Warner Bros. Records for putting me on.
