Rihanna is taking names and numbers to court.
The pop star has filed a lawsuit against her former accountants, accusing them of mismanaging her money over a five year period.
In the lawsuit filed this week in Manhattan federal court, Rihanna and her tour company, Tourihanna, single out the accountancy firm Berdon LLP and former employees Michael Mitnick and Peter Gounis.
The petition accuses the firm and the accountants of costing Rihanna millions between 2005 and 2010. It claims the firm failed to properly reconcile costs and revenues but still pocketed millions in commissions from Rihanna’s 2010 “Last Girl On Earth Tour.”
Rihanna says Berdon also failed to monitor her unpaid song royalties of her chart-topping hits and mishandled her foreign and domestic taxes. The firm has yet to respond to the lawsuit.
Rihanna will be featured in the August issues Harper’s Bazaar Magazine. Check out all the photos and show details below: Read More »
