Just weeks after releasing her hot new video with Maxwell for “Fire We Make”, Alicia Keys has dropped a brand new video for her latest single, “New Day”, that was produced by hubby Swizz Beatz.
“New Day” is a positive and celebratory type of song that just makes you want to get up and dance and have a good time. Director Laban Pheidias did an excellent job in capturing the upbeat feel of the song, and Ms. Keys looks absolutely STUNNING and brings the HEAT in this video.
In the video, we see Keys dancing in the streets of New York in a haute gold bustier and high heels, and then we see her showing off some choreographed dance moves in an on-stage performance.
Peep the video below:
Overall, I think this is a great video. “New Day” is something different for Alicia, but its definitely a good look for her and shows her in a different light than what we are used to seeing.
Are you feeling the video for “New Day”? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
R&B songtress Alicia Keys premiered her duet “Fire We Make” featuring Maxwell. The sepia-toned visuals are set in the French Quarter of New Orleans in the 50s era. Set all your fans to high and grab some ice water, because this video was indeed hot and steamy!
Mrs. Swizz Beats plays the role of a hotel clerk who seems to have a secret affair with the returning guest Maxwell, who enters the video with the words, “Do you have a room available?” Do I?? Of course!
The gorgeous singers then depart to separate rooms while singing and thinking about each other. The intensity was so hot it could burn a whole right through your computer screen!
Toward the end of the clip, the pair playfully flirts across the room at a party, then leave, only to reconnect in front of the hotel’s entrance, and disappear upstairs for the night. If we could only get a glimpse of how that fire actually looks while being made…
What are your thoughts on Alicia Keys’ latest video? Was it steamy enough for you? Check out the video and let us know!
