At age three, he became interested in rap. using the name “Kid Gangsta”, he began rapping recreationally at age six; he was also a fan of N.W.A at that age.

Monica is making the biggest splash on this week’s Billboard 200 chart. The R&B diva’s latest album, “New Life,” opens at number four with first-week sales of 69-thousand. The record gives “Monica” her fifth straight top ten album.
