Over 1900 fans Â came out in support, some waiting over 14 hours in line just to say hi to Mo. Monica made sure she spoke to every fan taking photos with everyone, and even stayed at the mall 1 hour after the mall closed to make sure every fan left happy. Â The latest album from Â Monica has its sights set on the top five of this week’s Billboard 200 charts.
A pair of R&B divas have their eyes set on a summer tour. Monica recently told Hot 93.7′s Jenny Boom Boom that she’s planning to hit the road with Brandy. Monica says they’re currently working to gather sponsors and find people who will get them “in the cities” they feel they should be performing in. Brandy and Monica just recently released their new single “It All Belongs To Me,” which will be included on both of their upcoming albums. Monica says they’re dedicated to the track in a different way than they were with their 1998 duet “The Boy Is Mine.” She explains that they’re old enough now to know that “there’s strength in unity,” which makes working together much more enjoyable.

R&B singer and my homie Â Monica recently sat down with BET to talk about her new album and possibly a collaboration with best friend and singer Mary J. Blige. Monica’s new album “New Life” which has been pushed back to February next year will be a treat to fans. The “Until It’s Gone” singer says,
â€œI have a couple of different people that I really like to work with, Iâ€™ve always wanted to work withÂ R. Kelly, Iâ€™ve always wanted to work withÂ Mary [J. Blige],â€ Monica admits.Â I wanted to save that for last because I think itâ€™s always good when you sit down with artists that you admire and love and play them songs and see if anything touches them.â€
My girl Monica finally dropped the album cover art for her upcoming album New Life. In addition to this, she also gave out the new release date for the album which is now February 21st, 2012 opposed to this month’s release date. The homie Monica will be releasing her next album in just a couple of months. Mo announced via her Twitter account Tuesday that “New Life” will be arriving on November 8th. Monica also just shot her new video and told us that fans can look forward to her singing about topics like love and family, adding that the record will be coming from a “very mature place.”
Monica’s last release was 2010′s “Still Standing.” The album opened at number two on the Billboard 200 chart with first-week sales of 184-thousand.
