NBA Star Jason Kidd Arrested For DWI In New York

NBA star Jason Kidd is facing DWI charges in New York. Kidd was the only person in the car when he crashed into a utility pole early Sunday. Southampton Police describe Kidd as “being intoxicated” after the crash. READ MORE

New York Knicks star J.R. Smith was arrested in South Beach last night.

According to TMZ, 26-year-old Smith was pulled over on a routine traffic stop … when the officers noticed an active warrant out for Smith’s arrest stemming from his failure to address a ticket for driving without a valid license.

Smith was booked into Miami-Dade County jail shortly before midnight. He was released a short time later on bond.

Congratulations are in order for Chris Bosh and wife Adrienne Bosh. Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh rushed home right before the Heat’s Thursday night playoff game against the New York Knicks, with his wife, Adrienne, who was delivering the couple’s first child. READ MORE

It seems like the New York Knicks are going threw it these past few months. A person with knowledge of the decision says New York Knicks coach Mike D’Antoni has resigned.


The person spoke to The Associated Press on the condition of anonymity because the team had yet to announce the move.


Yahoo news reported that New York lost six in a row for the second time this season and is in danger of missing the playoffs.


Loaded with talent, the Knicks have fallen into a tie for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

There were reports D’Antoni was not getting along with Carmelo Anthony, though the All-Star forward said Wednesday he supported the coach “100 per cent.”

D’Antoni put the Knicks through a morning workout Wednesday and had been preparing to coach them against the Portland Trail Blazers. Instead, Mike Woodson is expected to handle that role.  Spotted @ Tattletailzz

With the NBA back in full swing celebs have already began lining up to sit courtside at the games to cheer on their favorite teams. Lil Wayne, his girlfriend Dhea, and Kanye West were spotted at the Staples Center to enjoy the Lakers vs Bulls game. And over in New York Alicia Keys, Swizz Beats, and their son Egypt were spotted at Madison Square Garden to cheer the Knicks on to victory against the Boston Celtics.
