Idris Elba has recently confirmed that his role will continue on box office hit Thor’s upcoming sequel. The Golden Globe winner has confirmed to MTV that he will appear in Thor 2 reprising his role as Heimdall.
The 39-year-old actor will also appear with Nicolas Cage in Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. It doesn’t end there, he will also appear as Captain Janek in Prometheus directed by Ridley Scott. He’s not spending his current time sitting idle either. According to sources, he is currently shooting for director Guillermo del Toro.
Thor 2 is said to hit the theaters in November, 2013. Long way to wait.
