She was every man’s first TV mom crush the former “Cosby Show” star Phylicia Rashad is 65. She has accomplished a lot in those 65 years. She will forever have the love and adoration of the 80′s babies as the take no non-sense Clair Olivia Hanks Huxtable from the “Cosby Show”.
Clair Huxtable embodied the wonderful elements of your classic dream girl. She was FINE, BEAUTIFUL, SMART, LOVED MUSIC, and COULD HOLD HER MAN DOWN. We all grew to love Phylicia Rashad as she held her own next to the magnificent comedian Bill Cosby. Phylicia Rashad created a lasting legacy outside of her amazing career with Bill Cosby which included two sitcoms and tons of awards.
In addition to her work with the Cos she has forged an awesome path of her own which includes winning a Tony Award for her work in the Broadway revival of “A Raisin In The Sun,” co-starring Sean “Diddy” Combs. Rashad also starred in the TV movie based on the Broadway play revival. She helped to bring a modern and urban ‘Steel Magnolias’ to life last year with an awesome cast of actresses including Queen Latifah, Alfre Woodward, Lance Gross, and Jill Scott.
