Barack Obama found himself testing his vocals skills again singing the blues anthem of his hometown of Chicago, after being persuaded by the legendary singer B.B. King. During the performance of â€œSweet Home Chicago,â€ President Obama, who wowed many when he sang a few words from â€œLetâ€™s Stay Togetherâ€ at a Harlem event, was coaxed to deliver a few lines. â€Come on, baby donâ€™t you want to go?â€ President Obama sang into the mic, as Mick Jagger and B.B. King rocked on stage.
Obama then delivered the final lyric: â€œSweet Home Chicago.â€ According to the Associated Press, Obama talked about the what the blues mean to him at the event, saying that â€œthis music speaks to something universal.
