RL’s Big Weekend Birthday Extravaganza

Over the weekend one of Atlanta’s favorite celebrity residents celebrated his birthday in a major way. International hit maker RL from the R&B music group Next had ATL’s party scene on lock. Two of the biggest clubs in Atlanta, Mansion Elan and Luxe Ultra Lounge graciously pulled out their red carpets for RL and his entire entourage and treated him like the Royal Prince he is.

DSC_0075

In attendance to Host his two-day party extravaganza were his loyal band members Tweet and T-Low who to say the least know how to bring the party out and get the crowd hyped with their hysterical personalities and wild dance moves. It was definitely some hollywood treatment, each night RL and his entourage pulled up in an eight to ten car following, the likes of Q Parker from R&B group 112, Super Music Executive & Author Shanti Das, Cynthia Bailey and Peter Thomas of RHOA, NFL Hall of Famer Marshal Faulk and many more graced the club with their presence. And lets just say they didn’t shut the clubs down until the weeeeeee hours in the morning!

The most beautiful part of the weekend was seeing RL and his ORIGINAL band members together exuding love everywhere they went. The group is back together and better than ever. “Next” is currently in the works on preparing a comeback album to remind the old and new school the true essence of what REAL music is. I definitely believe the industry is missing that element so here’s a open invitation to all the R&B groups to come and make a statement like “NEXT” is embarking on.
