Over the weekend funeral services for Whitney Houston were held  (Feb 18) at the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, New Jersey. The emotional home-going service featured performances from Alicia Keys, Stevie Wonder, R. Kelly and others, as well as a few words from  Tyler Perry, Clive Davis, Kevin Costner, Dionne Warwick, Bishop TD Jakes,  and more.

I was on MissJia.com when I saw her post on one of my favorite TV actresses. Actress Alaina Reed Hall-Amini, who appeared on Sesame Street as Olivia & popular African-American NBC sitcom 227 as Rose Lee Holloway has died. I have to say that I have been watching her on TV almost every week of my life. She will be missed.
