I have to say I wish I could have had the chance to meet MJ, but I guess I will just have to meet him through the video and pictures that he left behind… While on the homie MissJia.com website, I ran across this story about how R-Kelly is suing MJ’s estate for a video  that was taped. In the Video MJ was dancing to one of R-Kelly’s songs while riding in a car…

What has the world come to when people can try to sue you for any little thing… Here is the rest of the story:

Michael Jackson’s estate has a new creditor’s claim — thanks to one R. Kelly. Michael sang Kelly’s song “Ignition” in his car as part of the TV show, “Michael Jackson’s Private Home Movies” — but never paid for it.

Universal Music Publishing Group, which owns the rights to the song, wants Jackson’s estate to pay $3,000. Universal attached a contract to the creditor’s claim, showing the fee in black and white.

So everyone and they mama knows that I am the” Type O King” but yall love me anyway,  well now R. Kelly had re-revealed that he has struggled for years with illiteracy, and that he would dictate the song lyrics to a person he would pay to write them down. 
At the recent Midwest Music Festival in Chicago, Kelly brought up his challenges again while discussing the ups and downs of his career.

“When I was trying to make it out here, I already knew, and I was stubborn about it,” he said. “I don’t even read really and I’m not afraid to say that. My cousins and brothers used to tease me ‘you can’t even read right.

“How you think you’re going to come up?’ The only reason I graduated from grammar school is because I had a great jump shot. I went to high school and [my teacher] told me ‘you will be one of the greatest writers of all time.’ I believed. You [have to] believe it. You can’t believe [anything] if you’re hating. You can’t achieve [anything] if you’re hating.”

I was on one of my favorite website Concreteloop.com and saw these pictures and have to say that Whitney is looking great these days. She really has come out of what ever she was going through and on her way back to the top. I hope the music is good…   This is what Concreteloop.com said:

Last week I told yall that R. Kelly had to cancel his video shoot because of passport issues well turn out the reason he is having passport issues is because he is accused of scamming people with fake concerts. TMZ reported:

R. Kelly has been dragged into a massive investigation in South Africa — but the singer claims he’s the victim of a grifter gone mad. It all started when a woman accused of scamming more than 50 people out of tons of money claimed Kelly played a part in the plot. She allegedly conned her victims into investing money in an R. Kelly tour that never existed. The woman reportedly says she deposited the money into Kelly’s bank account. She’s been charged with more than 60 counts of fraud — and Kelly is wanted for questioning. Kelly is vehemently denying involvement — his publicist said: “The woman has no connection at all with R. Kelly. This is just some con woman who swindled a bunch of people out of money. R. Kelly had no knowledge of this, he’s just as upset as anyone.”

Everyone remembers the charges that R. Kelly faced when a video tape was released in February 2002 that allegedly showed an under-aged girl and him engaging in sexual activities. Everyone should also remember that on these charges he was also found NOT GUILTY. So with that being said, why is this man still facing problems because of it?!?! R. Kelly is supposed to making his first tour in Africa this month with his participation in the ARISE African Fashion Awards, but since he has been having problems getting a passport that trip, unfortunately, may not be happening for him. He was suppose to tape his new video with OJ the Juice Man “Superman High“, this week in Atlanta but had to cancel after finding out that his passport had been canceled.  Doing my own research, I found nothing saying you cannot get a passport for being found guilty of a crime, let alone being found not guilty in the case of R. Kelly. Can they leave the man alone and let him go visit our Motherland now, PLEASE?!

R. Kelly is facing a lawsuit that stems from his child pornography case. According to TMZ.com, private investigator Charles Freeman filed legal action in Missouri federal court last week. Freeman alleges Kelly previously hired him to locate “certain tapes” that could incriminate the singer. The P.I. claims Kelly owes 300-thousand-dollars for the services, and is suing for that amount plus interest and costs. Kelly’s camp has yet to comment on the lawsuit. R. Kelly was acquitted on 14 counts of child pornography in June 2008. The case stemmed from a videotape that reportedly featured Kelly having sex with a then-underaged girl.

It looks like Ne-Yo is getting paid for a tour that he never got the chance to finish. According to E! Online, the R&B star was granted a default judgement of over 700-thousand dollars in a lawsuit he filed against the tour’s promoter, Rowe Entertainment. Ne-Yo filed the litigation back in December, one month after he was dropped from R. Kelly’s 25-date “Double Up” tour. Ne-Yo claimed he was let go because he was receiving a better response from the audience than Kelly during the first two shows. Rowe Entertainment countered that Ne-Yo’s camp failed to provide a signed contract. But the promoter didn’t respond to the lawsuit, forcing the judge to find in Ne-Yo’s favor. R. Kelly, who was recently acquitted on charges of child pornography, was not named in the lawsuit.
