Sammie has been working hard these days to make sure he keeps all of his fans while he works on his new album. Sammie’s Youth Foundation Empowerment pre-Tour made a visit to Maynard Jackson High School today speaking to more than 300 students about the importance of staying in school and how they can use music as a positive outlet.
This visit was the last of three included in the Empowerment pre-Tour to be followed by “Sammie’s Youth Foundation†20-School Empowerment Tour set to launch in January. Because he left the industry to go back to school, he’s reaching out to youth and encouraging them to get their education and still follow their dreams. I applaud him. Joining Sammie to create awareness were Rich Kids, Travis Porter, Radio Alexander, Yung Tone and G-Fresh.
