Gossiponthis.com is reporting that the music video for “We Are the World: 25 for Haiti” debuted Friday night (Feb 12) during the opening ceremony for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

This version of the song, featuring vocals from Justin Bieber, Jennifer Hudson, Lil Wayne, Janet Jackson, Miley Cyrus, Jamie Foxx, Mary J. Blige, Kanye West, T-Pain, Usher, Wyclef Jean and much more, is much more contemporary than the original but it fits today’s music era. The song’s original writer and singer Michael Jackson also appears in the song and video (his sister Janet sings the first chorus with footage of Mike thrown in). They also kept one of MJ’s original parts and show footage of him singing it (Nice!).

The 25th Anniversary recording features over 80 artists and performers. The recording of We Are The World 25 For Haiti embodied the same enthusiasm, sense of purpose and generosity as the original recording 25 years ago. Every one of the artists who participated, regardless of genre or generation, walked into the room with their hearts and souls completely open to coming together to help the people of Haiti.

The video shows footage of Haiti and the efforts surrounding its repair, along with footage of the artists mentioned above and more recording the song in the studio. If MJ was here he would be so happy..

Well, well, well, it seems like everyone decided to drop a new song this week!

First Up Jamie Foxx

Jamie Foxx, who’s album has been put on the TBD (date to be determined list), went to hit makers The Dream & Tricky Stewart in search of a single that would put him back on the map. Personally, I don’t think this is it…and I LOVE JAMIE FOXX.  The song is titled “Quit Your Day Job.”  Maybe I’m just trippin…do you like it?

Also out is Sean “The Pen” Garrett, who seems to keep putting out songs, but doesn’t want to put out an album???  His new joint features rapper Nicki Minaj (who was recently spotted playing date to Diddy’s son Justin for his 16th birthday party).  The song is titled “Get It All.”  So Mr. Garrett, can we get an album out of anytime soon???  I’m so looking forward to it!!!

Grammy Song Writer Sean Garrett teamed up with Tyler Perry’s Meet The Browns new young actress, Logan Browning for the 5th Annual Saving Our Daughters Bratz Toy Giveaway. Over 100 little girls were surprised as they received their favorite Bratz Dolls by the celebs which also included Tiny taking a quick break time from her BET show to call the girls and give them a shout out.

The Saving Our Daughters event was sponsored by Sean Garrett and was supported by Radio One Hot 107.9 in Atlanta.

Ryan Cameron hosted his 18 Annual Celeb Bowling Tournament recently, over the holiday! Some of Atl’s finest celebs came out to show love and shell I say try to bowl.  In attendance was Ludacris, Big Boi, Chris Tucker, Neffie and Sollow, Sean Garrett, Elle, CJ and many more who helped show support to my homie Ryan Cameron and his foundation.
