Shawty Lo’s New video “A-Town” came out today. This is the video to his single “Atlanta, GA”, which features Ludacris, The Dream and Gucci Mane. The trio held it down for incarcerated rapper Gucci Mane, as did other local artists and producers who made cameo appearances such as Cee-Lo, Big Gipp, Soulja Boy, Mike Bigga (formerly Killer Mike), Wacka Flocka, Yung Ralph, Insane Wayne and Zaytoven.

Shawty Lo is working overtime this year shooting his second video with an all-star line-up within a month.  He shot the video to his single “Atlanta, GA” with The Dream and Ludacris at the top of the month, and last night, he teamed up with Lil Wayne for his new single “WTF”.  Shot by the same director as “Atlanta, GA”, Mr. Boomtown, Shawty Lo is gearing up to release a new mixtape with DJ Scream “I’m Da Man 3″, while he puts the finishing touches on his sophomore album “I Am Carlos.  Expect cameo appearances in the video from Rocko, members of Young Money, D4L and more.

Lil Wayne wants all his fans to know that he is  ”going to be alright, and just make sure yall go out and get that Young Money CD”, and support his team while he is gone for his bid. Shout out to my man Lil Chuckie.

Hot 107.9 presented Jingle Bash over the weekend and I have to tell yall that it came with lots of Drama. There was everything from fights to artist being kicked out and even arrested. Artists scheduled to appear included Lil Wayne and Bird Man, Plies, Trey Songz, Young Dro, Soulja Boi, Fabo, Shawty Lo, Lil Scrappy, Rich Kids, Nicki Minaj, Young Money, OJ da Juice Man, Kandi, Waka Flocka, Big Bank Black, Verse Simmonds, Travis Porter, and many were all in the Building.

It takes a strong man to raise a large family so I know Shawty Lo can with stand anything…  Lo who has 10 kids from ages 7 to 17 is the type of father that will do anything for his kids so when his 2 daughters Ke Ke And Britney (they are not twins ) had there sweet sixteen, he had to go all out.  The party was hosted by my girls Drekia his personal assistant and Ecreia his longtime girl friend…

Over the weekend all of Bankhead’s little ones came to Club Crucial, to get all the crucial supplies thats needed for school this year… With A little over 500 children that showed up, I have to say that I was so moved by all the giving… I have to give TI, Club Crucial, and Shawty Lo, a big shot-out for all the work they do in giving back to the community…

This week I had the opportunity to go on the set of Soulja Boy’s latest video shoot ”Gucci Bandanna” here in the ATL. I have to say that it was a long day but was jammed packed full of stars …The one and only  Jamal ‘Gravy’ Woolard who played Biggie in the movie ”Notorious” was there. He is working on alot of different projects and his muisic.  Everyone came out to show love to the homie Soulja Boy Tell Em’. Ok, so I know y’all want to know all the dirt and what really took place so here it is: First off when I got there everyone was like they had been waiting on Shawty Lo forever.

No one realized that Lo wasn’t there cause he was not feeling well, at first everyone thought he was playing around and had other engagements but that was not the case at all. I have to tell y’all I really have much respect for the man. Lo, who has diabetes and needed to go to the hospital but opted to stay and work has an insane level of work ethic. I can’t do anything but give that man his respect . 

DJ Unk came out who was later asked to leave the set because of issues I think that he and Soulja Boy had in the past that dealt with Dj Unk’s new group that once was signed to Soulja Boy’s label!  Get this, Unk actually brought the group on Soulja Boy’s Set! WHY??!! drama, drama, drama!

On a sidenote, Soulja Boy is a really cool person.  He keeps it real and doesn’t fake what he does,  He keeps everything on the up and up and I admire that about him as well.  He is definately on his GRIND.
