These women today!  WhenEvelyn Lozada  And Star Jones have beef there’s something wrong.  But whatever it was, kudos to the Basketball Wives cast member for having enough sense to be respectful and apologize to her elders.
Star Jones may not be tuning in to Basketball Wives anytime soon but at least she and Evelyn Lozada aren’t beefing anymore. A few weeks ago, Star took to her twitter to express how disgusted she was with the show and encouraged her followers to take a stand and sign a petition to get the show off of the air. When Evelyn covered Vibe magazine’s recent Sexy Issue with Love & Hip Hop’s Chrissy Lampkin,’ Tamar Braxton from ‘Braxton Family Values’ and Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss, she was asked about Star’s boycott and reportedly cracked up laughing before saying that nobody was checking for Star.
It appears as if Star Jones and Barbara Walters have gotten over their differences. Jones is set to return to ABC’s hit, daytime talk show “The View” for the first time in six years.
According to “The Hollywood Reporter,” she will stop by the February 22nd episode to promote the American Heart Association’s “Go Red for Women” campaign, which raises awareness of heart disease in women.
Jones’ high-profile exit from “The View” captured headlines in 2006. After the network declined to renew her contract, Jones abruptly announced that she was leaving the show.
Walters refused to let Jones back on the air to finish out her contract on “The View.”
The relationship between the two has been tense ever since.
Jones currently serves as a legal correspondent for NBC’s “Today” show. Heres The View episode were Barbara Walters makes the statement on Star Jones leaving the show!!!

Al Reynolds isn’t playing any games out here. He’s gonna get his money no matter how he has to…even if that means showing up to his ex-wife’s book signing and serving her with court papers. To say that Star was pissed would be an understatement. Apparently, Reynolds went out of his way to serve Star the papers because she broke an agreement between the two of them to not make “disparaging remarks” about each other. Al wants $50,000 from Star all because she said that their marriage was “kind of booty” during an interview with Wendy Williams in March. Supposedly he had been having a rough time getting in contact with her because she has been super busy promoting her book Satan’s Sisters. I guess he figured that he’d catch her at work. Do you think Al Reynolds was out of order for doing this to Star? What would you have done if you were Star?
Donald Trump isn’t the only man making this a difficult week for Star Jones. The former co-host of “The View” is being taken to court by her ex-husband for publicly discussing their marriage. Al Reynolds has filed a lawsuit in Miami-Dade County Court seeking 50-thousand-dollars in damages. Reynolds claims Jones violated a clause in their divorce settlement which said they would be forced to pay 50-thousand-dollars if either of them spoke negatively about the other in public.
Reynolds says the incident in question took place back in March when Jones went on “The Wendy Williams Show” and said, quote, Read More »
Well I didn’t expect the homie NeNe to stay as long as she did with all the mayhem that traspired from the show. I was very clear to everyone that NeNe didn’t get along with any of the other women on the show, it’s just not in her DNA to share the spotlight. NeNe is a boss and commands it. Placing her in a controlled environment where she has to work with these ladies and all of their strong opinions would soon be short lived and it was on last nights show.
NeNe got heated when Trump reordered the teams on the show after Star Jones told The Donald she couldn’t work with her arch-enemy NeNe anymore.
Leakes stormed off to her hotel and told Trump,
“You can’t just accommodate her … that’s not fair.”
After battling back from health problems, the Queen of Soul celebrated her 69th birthday in a big way in New York City on Friday among friends and supporters.
Among those in attendance at the party, held at the Central Park Hotel, were Tony Bennett, Smokey Robinson, Clive Davis, actress and singer Bette Midler as well as OWN’s Gayle King, according to the Associated Press. Her publicist, Tracey Jordan, said Franklin planned to go to the theater earlier in the evening to catch “Driving Miss Daisy” on Broadway.
The music legend underwent surgery late last year in her native Detroit for an undisclosed ailment. Since then, she’s lost more than 80 pounds. Franklin has said the weight loss was because of a change in diet and exercise.
“It’s a fabulous moment,” said Ms. Franklin, touting a slimmer frame.
Aretha is due to return to the stage in May, and also has a new album on the way.
