This documentary film, Miss Independent Woman, explores and explains the point of view from people with various backgrounds and nationalities. Tackling the tough questions that many would love to ask, but tend not to allows this film to be categorized in a league of its own. Addressing everything from financial status, racial stereotypes, marriage expectations to societal double standards, Miss Independent Woman leaves the viewer with a concrete understanding of what women and men regardless of background and nationality feel about “Independence“.

Last night was definitely a comedy blast off with Atlanta’s own V103 Ryan Cameron as MC. There was a whole lot of knee slapping and stomach holding as the 5 comics in the competition were really funny!
Special Judge Comedian/Actor Kevin Hart, Wanda Smith and comic Joe Clair were the 3 competition judges of the evening. Kevin Hart put emphasis on no boo’ing and keeping things positive adding that it’s a challenge just doing stand up in front of a live audience.
Wanda almost broke the heckling rule as she started to go in on a female comic by starting her critque with the song “Never Would Have Made it. But Ryan Cameron got her in check quickly and Wanda did a rewind on a positive note.
Kevin Hart stole the end of the show with his rendition of comedian Sean Larkins with his T-shirt tucked in his Gucci belt. Thanks Miller for the 2 drinks provided and a great time. Check out the pics
