Recently-released rap star T.I. is getting rave reviews from one of R&B’s brightest stars. The-Dream recently spoke with MTV News and revealed that T.I.’s rhymes are on a whole new level. He proclaims, quote, “Tip is in a zone, man,” adding, quote, “Every record he played me, I was like ‘Wow.’ I could just feel it. It wasn’t about judging it. A company called Akoo International is claiming it has been around longer than the King Of The South’s clothing line. Recently Tiny & Toya just finished taping their second season of their number 1 hit show “Tiny and Toya“, produced by James DuBose of Dubose Entertainment. This season of the Tiny & Toya Show will be completely different from last and will be filled with a better storyline. In other news With just a few more weeks left on his prison sentence, T.I. is ready to start giving fans new music. The emcee spoke with MTV News on Monday and revealed that his next album will be hitting stores on August 24th.
Incarcerated rapper T.I. will be released from prison this month. The Federal Bureau of Prison records has the emcee scheduled for a March 26th release, and on Thursday T.I.’s lawyer confirmed the date. Steve Sadow tells MTV News, quote, “That date is correct. T.I. is now serving the remainder of his sentence in home confinement under the supervision of the U.S. Bureau of Prisons.” Following his release from a halfway house later this month, Tip is expected to complete between 20 and 60 additional days of home confinement. Fans of Â Chris Brown and Â T.I. will have to wait a few more months to see their latest cinematic effort. According to Rap-Up.com, the duo’s upcoming film, “Takers,” has been pushed back to a May 14th release date. The project, which was previously titled “Bone Deep,” had been scheduled to arrive next month. “Takers” focuses on a group of criminals who plan a heist at a money depot while looking to shake two detectives hot on their trail. Both Chris Brown and T.I. are looking to put a difficult 2009 behind them. Brown was arrested for assaulting his ex-girlfriend Rihanna last February. He later pled guilty to felony assault and is currently serving five years probation. This past May, T.I. began serving a 366-day sentence for federal weapons charges. He was released to a halfway house last month, and is expected to be a free man by the time “Takers” hits theaters.
Ok so now I can let the cat out of the bag.. For weeks I’ve had to keep silent about Tip going to a halfway house right before X mas, which I found out Â 2 months ago, but they wouldn’t let me say a word. Well the time has come and Tip has gotten out of the big house(today). T.I.â€™s lawyer has officially verified it. He is expected to serve the remainder of a reduced sentence in a correctional center near Fulton County in Georgia . I was told he’s put on a few pounds but has been doing nothing but writing and working on his music.
