Drake‘s grandmother otherwise known as, Bubby, passed yesterday on (American) Thanksgiving. Just an FYI, Drake is Canadian and Canadian’s celebrated their Thanksgiving last month. Rest in peace to his beloved grandmother, Evelyn Sher.

Drake says his next studio album will feature a different vibe than his sophomore release “Take Care.” The rap star explains to Billboard that he’s in a “very different place” right now, adding that he’s “very proud” of his current mindset. Drizzy says fans can look forward to a record that will be “conceptually one of the most exciting projects” he’s worked on. Drake says a big reason for the change in mood on his next record is his recent move from Toronto to Los Angeles. He notes that while he still has a place in his home city, he’s been inspired by all the change he’s encountered after moving to California.

In other news Drake doesn’t have a problem drunk-calling his ex-girlfriends and giving them a piece of his mind. However, the 25-year-old rap superstar admits that he’s more of a drunk texter than a drunk dialer. READ MORE

Drake Stops By Chelsea Lately

Chelsea Handler is known for her sexually charged, hilarious interviews with rappers. Rapper Drake was the guest on the latest episode of Chelsea Lately and did a great job of fielding some of Chelsea’s outrageous questions. The two discussed Nicki Minaj, his affinity for White Wine Spitzers (fancy!) and how he got signed to Young Money. Drake and Rihanna pair up again for Drake’s Take Care. The video to What’s My Name was super steamy so I can’t wait to see the video for this. In the song, Drake details how he will care for a woman while Rihanna talks about what she will do if he’ll let her. I think a lot of people are going to be feeling this joint. Drake fans may not like this, but the anticipated “Take Care” album release from the “I’m on one” artist has been pushed back to November.
