Tank recently released a video for his blazing hot single, “Shots Fired“, that features Chris Brown.
The video for “Shots Fired“ was directed by Mike Ho and takes place in a crowded club full of dancers on poles, beautiful men and women partying and popping bottles, and fire blazing all over the club.
In the video, Tank is decked out in all leather and performs in a sea full of women, and a shirtless Chris Brown can be seen getting hype and killing it with the dance moves in the background. There are even a couple of celebrity guest appearances in the video including Tyrese and Kevin Hart.
This song is not your typical Tank song, and the video is not your typical Tank video. This is a different side of Tank than what we’re used to seeing, but we are definitely feeling the new Tank.
Take a look at the video for “Shots Fired” below:
“Shots Fired“ is one of my favorite songs out right now and I have been eagerly waiting for the video to be released. The video for “Shots Fired” is dope and Mike Ho did a great job in capturing the ”get turnt up“ vibe of the song. Therefore, we give this video two thumbs up.

For the last 18 years, the Essence Music Festival has been the go-to event for African-Americans, especially African-American women. For three days in New Orleans, hundreds of thousands show up for R&B and gospel concerts and panels on politics, financial planning and parenting.Â
Over 300,000 Â people attended all the different events for this years Essence Music Festival as they, for the first time ever, held 4 days (use to be 3 days) of great music and entertainment.
Tamar Braxton, Toya Wright, was in the build to see MJB…. Tank, Tyrese, Ledisi and Mary Mary also hit the stage. I want to make sure to tell the people at Essence I had a wonderful time listening to great music.

Actress Elise Neal was in the bulding… Kevin Heart wowed the crowd and showed that he’s actually a pretty funny comedian and not just an a**whole.
I also got to see for the first time Kevin Hart who I’ve never seen perform a live show as a headline comedian. If you missed it, you’ll be able to purchase it he  filmed his performances for a new comedy special. Kevin threw his wife completely under the bus as he talked about his divorce and infidelity. Tooooooo Funnnnnnyyy….
Yall let me say this it seems like every time I come to New Orleans it is funny drama, and hell at first, mostly cause I don’t handle my business but I think this years trip tops them all… Just thankful I am here and a live. Last night Mary J. Blige, Charlie Wilson, D’Angelo and Aretha Franklin are just a few of the artists making their way to the Big Easy this weekend for the Essence Music Festival.
The New Orleans event is under way now, with organizers kicking things off Thursday with “Youth Day.”
Last night featured performances from Wilson and D’Angelo, (WOW he had a great show) as well as Trey Songz, Keyshia Cole and the Pointer Sisters.
On Saturday, Blige will top a bill that also includes Ledisi, Tank, Mary Mary and comedian Kevin Hart. Chaka Khan will close things out on Sunday, following performances from Aretha Franklin, Anthony Hamilton, Fantasia and Kirk Franklin.
Look at the lovely Stephanie Mills  photoed above is currently working a new album and is about to hit the road as she prepares for new up to date virgin of the play “WIZ”… P.S. Aretha Franklin is also slated to receive the inaugural “Power Award” at this year’s Essence Music Festival. For a full list of performers and events, visit EssenceMusicFestival.com.
